I wanted to add to my comments from yesterday, Douglas was great, very professional, explained the processes that my yard would being going through over the next year in layman's terms.
Kept updated on service calls and Service Tech covered service info well and was very nice.
I like that you are on time and work with customers when there is a problem.
Douglas came out for a re-treat today. As he backed in my driveway he ran over all but one of my Malibu lights that line my driveway. As I ran out to stop him he finally stopped the truck while parking on my foot. Once I got him off my foot we discussed the remaining weeds in my lawn and the broken bones in my foot. He offered to run over my other foot so I would limp equally on both legs then treated the weeds. Douglas seemed very knowledgeable, he just needs a refresher course on backing up. Lol
(Almost none of the above is true. You guess which are the "Tru" statements.
So far, customer service has been great. Text alerts were accurate. Technician appears to have made a thorough assessment.
Douglas was very helpful when he came out to our property. A super nice guy when answering questions. The only thing is when we called originally and talked to customer service we asked her if yall would get rid of our kudzu. She assured us that your services provided that. Both my husband and I asked her during both phones calls we made to trugreen. She assured us both times that your services would get rid of kudzu. Douglas informed me when he came out that was not the case. He was very apologetic that we were told the wrong information and was very nice about it.

Justin came today because the other specialist did not treat my lawn on Sat. because I was expecting a lawn service to mow sometime that day. The specialist gave me the folder and receipt even though he did nothing. He said he'd come back at 1 pm, but didn't. Justin did a very nice job today and explained what the treatment was for, and told me I'd get better results if I watered late today or early tomorrow morning. He noticed that I had a lot of blooming plants so he told me he'd move the truck and move the hose to different parts of the yard to avoid pulling the hose over them. I appreciated that. I gave a 10 today only because I was able to speak to Doug and get so much information by actually speaking to my service rep.
First let me state I am very UNHAPPY with my yard and results thus far.
I signed up with TruGreen September 2019. When I signed up I was told to expect the following services: 8 x's per year to include 4 fall and 4 spring. I was told all services were customized to my yard and guaranteed. I was told because I have Bermuda grass I would never have services in Dec/Jan/ or Feb. But I received 2 services in December. I called customer service several times since I have started to express my unhappiness with the number of weeds etc in my yard. I even questioned them why I was receiving any services in December ,,,, let alone 2 services!!!!!
I was never told I could receive free service treatments between my services if I was still seeing weeds. Basically calling the 800 number is useless. They do not understand the difference between a cold and warm grass or what services are useful and helpful.
When Doug came out yesterday he had fertilizer for cold grass. Apparently my account is showing I am a cold grass yard which he said he would change in the system to warm grass.
If you have been treating my Bermuda grass as if its a Fescue grass since September it would certainly explain WHY my yard has THE most weeds it has EVER had!!!!
I recognize I have not been speaking directly with the person performing the services, but I cannot help if I am not home. Hence, why I have called the 800 customer service.
From this point on, I will try to communicate better with my local service provider.
**Now, what I expect from TruGreen is a credit issued for 2 out of the 5 treatments I received in 2019 because I believe I was paying for Useless treatments and actually hurting my yard!!!
Doug could not even explain to me what was the service treatment I received on Dec 4th!!!
**Before my next treatment I would like you to spray a Roundup type product to kill all the weeds growing in my yard. This needs to happen immediately while my Bermuda grass is still dormant.
Please contact me and let me know you are truly committed to turning my yard around so I would be proud to recommend TruGreen. Right now I am very disappointed. What will make me a happier customer is for you to issue me a credit for 2 services, come out and kill the current weeds and then move forward towards strengthening my Bermuda grass.
I will make every effort from this point forward to communicate better with my local technician.

This message is for Douglas G. - we could have been friends, but on the only day of this epidemic I had to sleep in, you woke up my 2 sleeping giant 100 lb dogs who were well prepared with DEEP and LOUD barks to tell me you were here to put down lime! When I thought we were good and they stopped barking, I was drifting back to sleep on the couch and BAM... you knocked on the door and started the mayhem all over again!!!! Man, my lawn better look pristine after the rude awakening Douglas!

Great communication from my service tech today(4/2/20). He called me when he couldn’t find my home and was able to find it within a few minutes.
LaVon was my service person. He did a great job. He provided two summaries as well as a sheet for feedback. When services solicit feedback, it lets customers know their genuine interest in great customer service.
