I have been a Trugreen customer for three seasons. I have a difficult lawn with roots, rocks and lots of shade. It will never be a golf course unless I cut down the trees and start all over again. I’ll begin by saying that my lawn is much improved and will continue to improve in subsequent seasons.
COVID has created a major wrinkle in communicating with Trugreen. Originally when making a contact the call was transferred to the local office. Presently, a call gets transferred to a number of locations throughout the US. The communication notes on the customer screen sometimes reflects inaccuracies and with dates and treatments. This system didn’t work for me; it isn’t working for neighbors and friends who are experiencing similar problems.
Last season Cynthia, Customer Care Coordinator, contacted me after reading my feedback. I was heartened to know that there is a process in place that deals with special problems. She in turn forwarded my case to a local manager, Jesse Bylek, who contacted me promptly. From there on forward, I was in excellent hands. In fact he gave me his email address so I can communicate with him directly
Jesse takes extra time to understand my concerns and help with excellent advice for lawn care following the treatments. He paid personal attention to my lawn and stopped by to see its progress and meet with me personally. He indicated that when he passes by my property when driving about, he takes a look at its condition. This attention is very reassuring and helpful.
Just today I had aeration and over-seeding applications. I had a few special items that needed attention and emailed them to Jesse. He was quick to get back to me with assurance that these notes would be on the technician's work order. Technicians, David P and Miquel were really excellent in communicating the special items. They were pleasant, competent and really eager to please. I hope they will be assigned to my treatments moving forward.
I also used the mosquito control service. The first treatment worked; the second did not. Trugreen returned for a free second application and David did an excellent job controlling them. He, too, was really helpful and eager to please.
I am happy to share these commendations with you and am grateful to Jesse for his pursuit of customer satisfaction. I also appreciate some of the technicians who took extra time to ensure quality service.

PS I do hope that Truegreen will return to a decentalized method of telephone communication. It really makes a difference to connect with local people who are familiar with the customer and the landscape.
Professional and timely. I sometimes talk with TruGreen staff while on site. They are courteous and knowledgeable and will make adjustments as needed based on discussions.

So far it went well, but I do not see any difference in my bushes despite the extra service I paid.
Weed control is very good. With the exception of the first application which kept getting delayed, the service has been very good.
