Ms. Roni, understood that my son was afraid and worked with him, she worked around me having to hold his arms and head against me. He was able to get a really cute cut.
I have a six year old little boy who has always had an irrational fear of clippers, he's never let anyone even close to him with a pair it's always been scissors only. Which in turn leads to more frequent hair trims. I took him and my nephew up yesterday May 31st to have their hair cut for the summer. The boys first and for most had a blast. The staff was insanely kind and understanding. When it came to time for my little boy to have his hair cut I asked if they could try to do a fade, I informed AJ the stylist that my son had issues with clippers and if he couldn't do it that it was okay, this sweet kind hearted man did everything he could to reassure my little boy that the clippers would be okay. The appointment too longer then expected, but that's only because AJ took his time to really show my son that clippers were no big deal. Let his touch the clippers, he used them to only slip the smallest amount of hair off and worked his way up until my son was comfortable enough to actually get the hair cut I requested. I will 10/10 recommend this salon to everyone that asks. And we will be permanent customers. Thank you AJ and the staff at pigtails and crewcuts. You all were phenomenal.

We make the drive from Metro Phoenix to this location because we love the patience and care that our children receive from the staff when receiving their haircuts. Our son has a really hard time and Brenda is so wonderful and it’s so amazing that she speaks Spanish which adds a level of comfort to our son whom we are trying to raise bilingual.

Ms Rhian was amazing with my son. It was his first haircut at “the haircut store” and he’s wildly unpredictable. She made the process easy and painless, making conversation with him the entire time, even if he didn’t say one word back lol.
My son is not a fan of haircuts but Ms. Yoshi did a great job and gave him a great haircut. We love Pigtails and Crewcuts!
Cindy Lou was so patient and accommodating! It isn’t easy to cut a toddlers hair but she and the rest of the staff did such a great job making sure my little guy was as comfortable as possible
We love the fun environment and Zehra does a great job cutting my son’s unique hair texture. I wanted to note that Cindy Lou took a fall while we were there and she mentioned that the cord she tripped on is a regular tripping hazard. She seemed ok, but it was quite a scare!
We visited the store for my daughter’s 1st haircut and we had a great experience! Raylene did a fantastic job despite my daughter wiggling around everywhere. For the first haircut you get a cute card with a picture and lock of hair, So cute! We will be returning!
The hair stylist did an awesome job with my very active 3 yr old daughter, from working with her to how amazing she did with her hair for her very 1st hair cut. Will be back again for sure.

My 3 year old son Grayson had a hair appointment with Michelle today. I wanted to reach out and tell you what a positive experience this was for us.
My son is so scared of haircuts and recently had a bad experience at a previous salon. Today he was very anxious and was crying and screaming while Michelle tried to cut his hair. She was so patient with him and took her time. She was reassessing and calm the entire time and never made us feel like a burden. Because of this, we will absolutely be back.
I wanted to reach out and tell you how much this meant to me because I know how difficult that haircut must have been. Every staff member was kind and reassuring.
