enjoy the egym!
gentle yoga, friendly people.
I like the group exercise classes.
Excellent instructors I’ve been going to the WC YMCA for 15 years. Love Tuesday Thursday 9 AM spin and body pump. Instructors are fantastic… super welcoming community.
great place to work out. People are very nice, equipment is great and very clean thanks
Friendly staff
Location, staff, exercise equipment
Such a clean, friendly and welcoming environment. Staff works very hard and care for the people coming in.
The pool and shower facilities are very good. Always able to get a lane for lap swim.
The staff at the Lionville Y is amazing!
Can the electric outlets in the women’s downstairs restroom get repaired? They had been broken for numerous months. There is only one working outlet now, and it is right by the sink so your cords are dangling in the sink when using the outlet. Three other outlets are broken. Several women getting ready for work ant the same time and need to use the outlets. Thank you!
The pool based arthritis and exercise classes are gr8. I feel like we need more of them in the warmer pool.
Great facilities and staff
I am so happy to be back after an 6 year hiatus. I absolutely love being a member of the YMCA! The yoga, Pilates, and barre programs are fantastic, and the instructors always provide a welcoming and challenging environment. These classes have become a key part of my fitness routine, and I truly appreciate the variety and quality of programming offered.
My only criticism is that the Mind and Body Studio room feels too small, especially during popular class times. It can be difficult to fully enjoy the experience when the space feels overcrowded. If there’s an opportunity to expand or relocate the studio to accommodate more participants comfortably, it would make the already great experience even better.
Thank you for providing such wonderful programs and for always striving to meet the needs of your members!
Availability. Equipment

Friendly atmosphere great staff
Great instructors, a variety of classes, friendly staff,
Pickleball! And egym
I have been a member since March, and am very pleased with the program. The instructors for fit lite are great, and I look forward to going to classes.
Very organized. Equipment kept in running order. Lots of choices. Clean. Very popular. Friendly and helpful staff.
What’s not to like?
Particularly like the new pingpong program. it's an activity that's ideal for those of us who find tennis and pickle ball a little to strenuous. Looking forward to the day when we can have a couple of tables setup for open play.
Very accommodating and versatile.
Place is always clean. Equipment is well maintained and usually fixed in a timely manner if broken. Staff circulates on a regular basis and are very friendly. Always get a hello when I check in.
For all that you offer, you are the best game in town.
Only concern and it is a positive/negative situation. Your facility is routinely crowded. That shows me that the community likes the facility and what you offer. The downside is gym etiquette.
1. Anyone talking on a phone should be asked to take the conversation away for the exercise area. Their lack of awareness amazes me. I dont need to hear their conversation.
2. Too many people sit on equipment between sets. I am amazed at how many people immediately check their phone after a set. What happened in their life in the 15 seconds their phone was on the floor? One of the reasons I left LA Fitness was the number of members who occupied equipment. My recommendations are one of two. 1. Post large neon side on the walls reminding members of gym etiquette and not to sit on equipment between sets. 2. As staff circulates and sees a person sitting on equipment and looking at their phone, remind them of the gym etiquette. The more crowded the gym is, the worse the equipment squatting gets. I get tired of asking people if I can "work in".
Cell phones and social media are the bain of society. All you have to do is look around the exercise areas as an example. I cant believe people cant put them down for an hour or so and just exercise. Maybe post signs around locker areas and encourage people to have cell phone free exercise time.
I love the variety of classes. There are plenty of classes all times of the day. The instructors are great. The facility is wonderful.
The wide range of activity, the friendliness of the staff and members

Swimming lessons are well organized and the trainers are very good.
