West Chester’s YMCA is one of the most friendly gyms/fitness facilities that I have ever been to. It is always clean and organized. I feel proud to be able to bring my 4 year old daughter there to enjoy the play center and pools. I am also very encouraged to see a diverse staff as well as membership group. I was thrilled to see that the YMCA was closed for Juneteenth - this is progress and I hope we all continue to grow like this. I love it here! Thank you all for creating a safe feeling, friendly, family-like environment.

The outdoor pool. Lionville Y no longer has an outdoor pool.

Being (very) Senior Citizens, both of us find that the exercise equipment suits us very well. We can “work out” at our own pace & feel the “burn”, which is a good thing! Many thx to your facility & personnel.

I dont take classes , but do come to open swim in the rec pool - everyone VERY friendly - locker rooms kept clean , but some of the shower heads in the family bathroom need replacing - they don’t stay in place - making it difficult to shower if you don’t want to ho,s the nozzle - all the time

The personnel are very friendly professionals. They are very knowledgeable and willing to help with any questions or concerns.

I like the variety of classes and instructors offered at WCAY. I live closer to UMLY (and I like it there too), but scheduling at West Chester seems to better align with mine at this time.

Kid friendly. A lot to choose from. Would love a cold plunge. Staff is friendly and accommodating.

We love the outdoor pool! The space is always clean and the staff is friendly and professional. The life guards are always very attentive.

I would love to see a large clock somewhere near the outdoor pool! It's so easy to lose track of time while having fun in the pool.

There is such a great variety of fitness activities. I am having fun going to a different class each day. The instructors are knowledgeable, patient and friendly.

The teachers worked hard to provide a great experience for our son.

My son made great progress and we will be signing him up again!

We really enjoyed the parent/child swim class with our 1.5 year old. When I signed up, was hoping for a bit more safety instruction. However liked the teacher and our child is a lot more comfortable in the water after completing the class.

Loved the swim lessons, and the attention from the instructor and life guards. Our child loved it too, and we'll definitely be back.

I like the group classes and the friendliness of the staff. I love that we can use the outdoor pool in the summer without an extra fee. I like that the Y also looks to help people in the community who are in need.

Everyone that works there is very helpful and friendly. The instructors are all very good and make the classes fun. I love the positive attitudes and the encouragement. I am very happy that I joined. There are so many activities that I want to try.
