A variety of workouts with good instructors who are very personable
It would be nice instead of body pump there was an offering with varied size hand weights & aerobic mix
Just 3lb , 5lb & 8lb possibly 10 with typical weight lifting exercises along with an aerobic workout for people somewhat intimidated by barbells & excessive weight
I like that you offer pickleball. However...
I wish the courts were cleaner. The floor is often sticky
I wish the cleaning staff would clean off the old chewing gum from the bench in the gym
I wish the curtain would be raised without being asked.
I wish there was a way to keep the basketball kids out of the gyn until 3pm. They are a danger risk to themselves and to the players. When we ask them to leave until 3 they are very disrespectful and ignore us.
I love the group exercise classes. The instructors are great. The staff is like family!
I recently joined the Y & it’s the best thing I could have done! They offer all kinds of classes & activities. I am so happy with all the instructors & most of all I live 5 minutes away!
West Chester YMCA is our home branch. My husband and I used to come to play pickleball games 4 times a week Front desk staffs are always very friendly and helpful. The gym is clean and very well lit. We love our Y very much.
Unfortunately nowadays we only come once a week at this Y because Monday is the only day that has « Only Advanced level session « offered.
But we still love this Y and the staffs.
Wide variety of thoughtful and informative programs and activities is great, there’s something for young and older members as well.
I like the fact that there is something for everyone, especially for seniors.

Deep water class
I love taking Leslie's water aerobics. She gives 110% every single time. Makes the class fun and I always get something out of it.
Pickleball program is very robust.
Your programs and facilities are family oriented.
A wonderful facility, great equipment, helpful employees, plenty of parking. The spirit of the Y usually carries over to its members, only exceptions are those members not aware of a workout culture. Examples of this is, playing with a phone instead of asking a waiting member to share equipment, thus less waiting. Another is sharing pool lanes, although with this one some swimmers are not capable of sharing. If this occurs just explain your situation ,nearly all will understand.

Have come to really appreciate the EGym equipment and system. It helps ensure that I do all 11 exercises each time I come. I also enjoy using the self-propelled treadmill, as I think it pushes me physically more than just a regular treadmill. There is only one machine in the Airport Road facility and I hope it remains. Usually don't have a problem accessing it or the EGym in terms of availability.

I love the atmosphere at the Y from the moment I walk in the door! The friendly staff always greets me and I'm often warmly greeted by other members. Our family has greatly benefitted from the child watch program and associates who take such good care of our kids! It's so nice to be able to drop our kids off and go work out or sit and have some time to work or read in the lobby.
I often attend group fitness classes and appreciate the excellent the quality of teaching!
The extra family events around the holidays and the parents night out have blessed us as well!
We love the Y and often recommend it to our friends who are not yet members!
