The options and the staff is awesome.
The YMCA in West Chester offers a welcoming environment. I am always greeted with courtesy and friendliness. The facility is always clean and I feel comfortable working out in any room. Classes begin and end in a timely manner and the level of instruction is well-matched to the audience and the activity. The instructors are well trained and knowledgeable in their area of expertise and I enjoy the encouragement of camaraderie within the group.
The variety of services and outreach programs is impressive and I feel there is a genuine level of care and concern for the community. High praise for the management, workers, and all who make this place magical.

Instructors are great, classes are interesting. Workout area doesn’t have music blaring. Overall very friendly feeling.

Absolutely love Chrissy Shirring, pilates-yoga instructor. Her classes are varied, building core strength in a fun, fresh, and relaxing way. So happy she now has another class on Mondays.
I love the e-gym. I love that! I can walk either on treadmills or around the track. And while I haven't taken advantage of the classes very much, I absolutely love the variety of options the Y offers.

Love the new full body workout system
I love the eGym! I would like to see an employee dedicated to the help desk for the eGym. Last week when I was there, 2 ladies received help from some of us who were exercising since there was no one there to help them. Consequently, we had to skip some machines since they were both doing the same machines and we had to help.

We started my oldest in the Montessori classroom with my middle child in the twos classroom. From the moment we began at the Y, we were welcomed with smiles, greeted by name, and my children were able to very quickly form a rapport with their teachers and classmates.
The teachers go above and beyond to make the classrooms a fun place to learn, grow socially and emotionally, and mature in ways that are developmentally appropriate for their age group. The school even hosts special area subjects, such as yoga, Zumba, gymnastics, music, swim lessons, and more!
My third child recently started in the one’s room at the Y and has since graduated to the twos. Being able to watch all three of my children grow, in so many ways and in such a short time, has been incredible. The admin/directors, staff, teachers, and special area instructors make the YMCA childcare program what it is today, and it is wonderful!
I have recommended many of my friends to join in and be a part of this amazing community because I know they will be met with the same satisfaction that I feel.
