Have something for everyone....almost would like to see an expansion of services offered for people with Parkinson's, which is on the rise. There is a program called "Rock Solid" which is offered in Dayton, Ohio - we need one here in Chester County!

I love the egym. I’ve told so many people about it already. My family that lives in reading would love to join the Y and do the egym but there aren’t any branches nearby with the egym. It’s so clean. The equipment is top of the line. The patrons of the gym are so respectful. I look forward to attending the Y

Everything in the gym, and lockerrooms are super clean. Nice machines, enough to go around.

Negatives:
I HATE loud cell phone talkers having personal conversations while on treadmill. Ridiculous that others have to hear half-hour long loud personal conversations while the talkers have their air-pods in and have NO CLUE or respect for others while they loud talk to their friends ad nauseum.
Its one thing to have you phone for PRIVATE USE for music/videos/texting etc.
Totally different and DISRESPECTFUL to others in a public space to subject us all to your conversations. So annoying.

Outdoor pool: Very dissappointing that there was no adult swim and/or more that ONE LANE for laps. And that lane was constantly being jumped into and occupied by non-lap swimming kids. I joined the Y specifically for pool. Took one "lap" in the West Chester outdoor pool and dodged 3 kids jumping in practically right in front of me. Got out and left.
Indoor pools are fantastic.

I really enjoy the group classes. However, the stationary bikes in the cycling room need lubrication. They’re extremely loud and squeaky when trying to adjust the height, etc.

It is friendly and clean. I am mainly using swimming pool and sauna. I suggest you consider 4 lanes all the time for members. Sauna does not have a sand timer or any timer . It will be nice if you have . There’s a sign not to use cell phone in sauna but almost no body care and they bring cell phone to sauna. I suggest to be more strict like membership cancellation in case of cell phone usage.

I’m a member of UMLY, and wanted to bring guests (children) to West Chester YMCA for the outdoor pool access. Registration process was easy, and we felt welcomed at this facility.

We love the pirate ship pool!!!!

The wide range of activities for all memebers of the family.

# 1 - Programs seemed to be well thought out, planned and executed. Well done.

# 2 - The Brandywine Valley YMCA pays attention to what members want and the way that they want it. For example, this brief questionnaire. Another is the suggestion paper strips asking for suggestions. I think this Proactivity pays off.

# 3 - Teamwork! It appears that there is sufficient staff available to carry out your mission and they work well together. Bravo to the team!
