What do you like about our programs and activities?

The range of options available at the Y are second to none and the staff are always friendly and willing to help with any needs you may have. The spaces made available for the wide variety of classes offered are well suited to the activity and the instructors are very good. It bothers me when I read the suggestion board and people complain about a class being too long, or too short, or not at a convenient time for them, or any other inane complaints because the class or room is not exactly what would fit their needs! The Y does a fantastic job creating an atmosphere that is conducive to training and friendly for all who take advantage of the offerings. Keep up the good work and don't listen to the naysayers who will never be pleased regardless of how many times you tweak something to placate them. You do a great job and you should be proud.

The quality of the facility is top notch, and I like the variety and quality of the programs

I especially appreciate the ability for handicapped people to enjoy physical fitness.

The class instructors are excellent, very qualified and welcoming, including handicapped people who may not be able to do everything the rest of the class can do. My husband has a disability, but nothing stops him from trying new things. His PT Jim is always challenging my husband with new workout ideas. Our chair yoga instructor Barb and aqua teacher Deirdre have been very supportive of my husband, encouraging him to find ways to modify his workout so he can get the most benefit from whatever program he is in.

In fact, everyone we meet at the Y has been very welcoming, helpful and kind.

I am a class person. I love the Zumba and body combat classes. Kelly on Monday’s and Cynthia are the absolute best! The give me to much confidence and motivation!

What do you like about our programs and activities?

So many activities to choose from, there’s something for all of us. My daughter has been taking swimming lessons since last summer and LOVES it. All the employees at the Y are very kind and helpful. Such a great place with great people!

I use the facilities but haven’t taken full advantage of the various programs although I do see a wide variety to choose from which is a big plus. There seems to be something for everyone.

What do you like about our programs and activities?

I like that, even when it’s crowded, I can find a machine I know how to use and like on the fitness floor. I don’t have to wait in line for something.
