Very nice facility and feel very safe leaving kids in childwatch.
So glad our kids got to meet lots of new friends and try activities they would not have had the chance to try otherwise. The counselors were nurturing, engaging and attentive. An outstanding group.
Both of our Grandsons had a great summer enjoying six weeks of fun. The three year old basically had the same activities each day which fully engaged him. Our 11 year old enjoyed a different activity each week. This is his fifth summer at the Y camp and it was his best!
Variety of choices for camps, and convenient hours
My Kids loved the camp. Counselors were friendly and fun.
My kids love camp! There are lots of tracks so both my kids can engage in activities they love.
Camp was great. My kid was busy and outside all day, can't ask for much more.
The kids go non stop the entire day and learn new things each day.
I appreciate the variety and the availability at the exercise classes. In particular the leaders are all positive, encouraging and knowledgeable.
Outdoor pool
The variety and low key nature of everything.
Variety of classes and equipment; teachers have been good. Well organized and friendly.
The 50 meter pool for adult lap swim. Wish it could be used year round!
Fitness and cycling classes are amazing

Love the fitness center. Great group classes. Aqua Therapy pool is,perfect for my back.
During my recent brief visit, while the Airport Road Y was closed for enhancement, I used your new treadmill, and enjoyed that as well as free weights.
Your convenient hand sanitizer located near the cleaning solutions and equipment wipes was appreciated. Also, your folding cushioned floor mats with handles are easy to manage..
It is also very nice that there are lovely walking areas on the property.
Child watch has a very caring staff and they accommodate kids with special needs so well
Frequency of classes and variety
I love to parents night out, sitter service, owls nest and the hours of camp! As working parents these options are great!
This was our 3rd year of Y Camp and our son loves it!
We love camp and the councilors, teachers and activities.
We live the coaches and teachers for all the activities.
UMLY has a very good tennis program. It could be much much stronger though. There needs to be a focus and commitment from the the Greater Brandywine Organization to grow this program. The community wants a stellar kids and adult program with USTA tournaments. The parent community has been leaving UMLY to go to other places for tennis because there is no growth for kids once they reach the intermediate level. There are a few things the Greater Brandywine YMCA can do to help UMLY. 1. UMLY needs addition indoor courts so they can maintain their clinics and schedule during the winter months. 2. The contracts with leagues need to be cancelled. I know they bring in revenue, but you will see more revenue if the tennis program is expanded and the reputation increases. 3. We need USTA tournaments for kids. It increases the visibility of the tennis program and brings prestige to UMLY.
Please Please build us more indoor tennis courts. UMLY was going to do this before it joined Greater Brandywine and the capital improvement budget got pushed toward renovating the pool.
UMLY day camp has been great. My daughter absolutely loves going to camp and hanging out with her friends at UMLY. She comes home very dirty and exhausted and I would t expect anything less. I love that they play outside all day!
Tennis program is great for our daughter. It has been wonderful.
Very family friendly and everyone is very competent and professional!
