People and facility

No matter what time of day I want to work out, there are always machines available. The staff is friendly and pleasant. The classes are great.

The friendly and helpful front desk, the knowledgeable trainers who respond to questions about equipment or an exercise cheerfully and with encouragement, and the other members who genuinely care about you as a person. People at the Y chat, build relationships and make you want to get out of bed when to work out because you know you will feel better after. The housekeeping staff (truly amazing people) always have a genuine smile for you as you drip water on the freshly mopped floor. And the instructors are first rate.

Everything! Staff are helpful, attentive, always smiling, gym has everything. Would like to see privacy (curtains) in the showers for everyone. Love the classes, interactions and the amazing schedule. The Y is family & community friendly. I love having that community centered approach.

Please keep the TRX out at all times for the members. Every other Y keeps it out that I've been too and don't understand why it is sometimes put away here at kennett.

The Kennett Y is part of our lifestyle. The atmosphere makes it easy to work out even when you don't want to. They achieve this by providing a happy environment via the staff and having a wide array of classes, equipment and information on health and nutrition. Well Done!

Unlike the West Chester YMCA, there are usually more than two lap lanes available at most hours of the day, as well as a heated pool.

The staff.

Everyone that works at the ymca is always very helpful and friendly and the facility is kept very clean. I also like the selection of machines at the Kennett Square branch.

The staff is friendly and attentive. The facility is clean. The instructors for the Zumba classes are welcoming and accommodating to all levels of Zumba fitness. The monthly membership fee is very reasonable for seniors.

Really well run and cheerful staff.
I would put up signs in the circuit and machine room to encourage members not to chat with friends while sitting and not using machines. A few bench seats in the room might solve that problem

Great facility, helpful staff, strong community vibe. I always recommend people join the Kennett Y.

I love that I can take classes at my main branch, Jennersville, as well as Kennett. I always feel welcome at Kennett even though I don't use it on a regular basis.

I love the group fitness classes, access to several types of workout options (pool, track, machines, classes, gym), coffee provided, locker rooms.

There is a great selection of activities for kids. I would say I have been a little disappointed in the professionalism of the instructor of the preschool 2 swim lessons. She starts late every lesson and is on her phone a lot before the lesson rather than engaging with the parents. She seems great with the kids, and they love her. She could just use a little coaching on interacting with the parents. She is young, so it's not a criticism, but just an area of improvement that could make her even better.

I like how focused it is on the community, I loved meeting with my Y Coach, and the equipment is easy to use and there are plenty of machines to choose from.

Lots of different classes to choose from. As new members we have been impressed by how friendly the staff is. Also the facility is very clean and up-to-date.
