I like thta so many of the instructors have been there for a long time/. We get to know them.

You have a great selection of classes. Everyone is friendly and helpful and it's always clean.

There is a large variety of programs offered. The total time the Y is open is very nice to accommodate many people. The staff and instructors are great and really make me feel very welcome.

My daughter is on Jennersville Y b-ball team (12-13) and they had a game at Kennett. Facilities were clean and easy to access. Staff was courteous and helpful.

Good instructors

I've been a Y member for 13 years and I can't say enough good things about the community and attitude of the employees.

That being said, I participated in this year's Christmas Angel Tree and I must say that it was poorly managed, which might be why the response was tepid. There was very little advertising in the lobby about the project (the angel tree didn't show up until the very last week before Christmas) and the binders had very few children in them. I tried two weeks in a row until I was able to pick someone. Someone who hasn't participated in the project before would have had no idea that it was going on - I had to ask for the one binder that was available. I hate to see this happen because I think a lot of people benefit from the gifts and I think more attention needs to be paid to remind Y members that this is happening.

Positive atmosphere!

Large variety of classes available.

Great environment. Great selection of classes and plenty of equipment even during the evening rush. The people who work for the Y are always helpful.

The ability to warm up by shooting baskets for 15 - 20 minutes before I go to lift weights. Also I run on the track occasionally.

Lastly, when needed, I get good advice on how to correctly use the weights.

The Water Aerobics classes are excellent and instructor Leslie is very good
In 3 years I have kept my arthritis at bay through this program.

Friendly staff and exercisers!

I come to Kennett solely to use the pool, and it’s great - there’s always an open lane, and the online schedule is current.

The yoga program is absolutely amazing. I drive 30 mins from Coatesville to attend the Kennett YMCA’s yoga classes. The indoor track is the best thing ever also!

I like that the programs and activities at the Kennett YMCA are very well structured with plenty of exercise equipment to use.

A variety of youth sports and other activities offered.

I like the machines available to maintain muscle mass.

Susie B does a great job leading our Body Pump class !
She's very energetic and joyful in getting us through an upbeat full body workout.

respect for individuals and each one's ability....where they are at that moment on that day.

(Mainly from one class , one instructor, and great substitutes when needed.)

The facilities are great, but not over the top. It's the perfect balance.

Yoga classes and instructors are great. Would you consider offering a warm yoga class on a weeknight around 6pm for those of us who work? That would be great. The quality of your yoga instructors is excellent.

Staff is very friendly,also very knowledgeable.Building is bright and clean which leads to and upbeat atmosphere.

I don’t really participate in your programs and activities anymore, my kids are grown. I mostly use the gym. The Kennett Y is a great place. Nice sized Y, very community-focused, I feel like everyone knows everyone there, employees are great and really helpful.
