I especially enjoy the pool. I come most days between 7:30 and 8:30 for 1 hour of self aquatic exercises,
On Tuesday and Thursday I come for water exercises 6:00 to 7:00 guided by Robin Meixner

I love body pump and have been at the Kennett Y for 8 years. Working with great instructors like Mary and Joel. Karen Worked with me when I first started and taught me how to use good form and to not get injured. She was very kind to teach me personally. I have made friends and I worry about them and hope to see when the virus is under control. Thank you to all who work at Kennett Y!

Ample lap swimming availability, good balance of free weights, cardio and strength machines, friendly staff, convenient location, community outreach.

I love the Y. I have been a member since January 2004 starting with my kids, who were babies at the time, taking swimming lessons. My kids and myself have made many friends through the Y.

The classes and instructors are great.

With lockdown beginning in March 2020, I was so grateful and proud of the Y to make the effort to bring back people and classes as soon as possible. In June they offered many outdoor classes. When we could go indoors, their commitment to keeping the members safe and healthy was evident. The members themselves made every effort for health. Wearing face masks, wiping down any equipment they used, maintaining a 6ft distance when re-acquainting themselves with friends they hadn't seen for a while.

I hope more people come back to the Y. They are doing a great job.

Currently what I like is that you're open. That's huge. And you've kept the facilities sanitized. Again, huge during this pandemic.

The y is great and safe! Thank you for offering kids activities!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The track is a huge bonus for me and the cardio machines are everything I need. The gym is also very clean and you can tell they care about health and safety!
