took the family to Kennett Square YMCA. first time we have been there, we chose the warm pool where the kids could play (get out of the rain) and parents could interact with them while enjoying a relaxing pool. Like that both inside pools have ramps into them. I go to water aerobics for arthritis at Jennersville several days a week so climbing down a ladder isn't going to work for me. We joined Jennersville outdoor pool since our grandchildren are there but I cannot use the pool at all. Also the ladder is located at 4 ft. while i am 5 ft tall and don't swim this doesn't work either. I did ask about it before joining but told it wouldn't be a problem. It is very much a problem. Will checkout Kennett's outdoor pool for next year. Much better Y in my opinion.

Love the community vibe at the Kennett Y - always a smiling face and a friendly hello at the desk. The classes are challenging and there is something for everyone.

that you can use it at any Y now!!! That gives it so much more value!!! I always thought it should be like that. It took too long, but I'm glad it works now!!!

The friendships and classes/

The water aerobics class taught by Jane Martin is great. I only had the other instructor once, but she was equally good.
My grandchildren love the outdoor pool, especially the water slides. They live out of state but when they come to town, we head for the pool.
The staff at the Kennett Y is always friendly. And, after class, it is always nice to grab a complimentary cup of coffee!

I am a West Chester YMCA member, but sometimes use the Kennett Y when it works better for my schedule. I like the childcare facility and the availability of machines when I am there.

Very kind and professional staff.
Very accessible and services are available for all children. Being a mum of two children on the spectrum it is so hard to find programs for my girls.
I love the inclusive model and that parents and children are well taken care of.

Great facilities!!

It's not so much my membership as the ambience of the people at the Kennett Y that makes it so enjoyable. Truth be told, my current mainstay course instructor is not a great teacher (a very nice person, indeed, and knows her topic but doesn't possess a good skill for translating her knowledge into a large group instruction), but the people I interact with there bring me peace:)

I love the facility, the childhcare, class options, outdoor pool membership. There’s really nothing to complain about so it’s hard to even name all the wonderful things my family and I have enjoyed since becoming members!
