First time trying the Kennett branch. I attended Amanda's Sunday morning step class. I've taken her class before at West Chester when she subs and she is the best step instructor around, so I did the 30 minute drive on Sunday morning just so I could attend her class! I wish she taught at West Chester more often or had a regular step class there.
That it is very family friendly. It feels more like a community than a gym. My kids love going and my three year old loves her classes she takes.

The camaraderie of the 4:45 AM Running Group (formerly known as 5 miles at 5 AM). The friendly staff with Gordon's great stories. The uncrowded weight room (at 6 AM) or the tough Yoga workout (at 6 AM) or the entertaining coffee round table (at 6 AM). Off to work by 7 AM with my 10,000 steps already achieved, my inner peace established, and energized with my cup of coffee.
All the staff are very professional and helpful and the facilities are maintained in outstanding condition. Always a pleasure to be a part of the culture and community that is the Kennett YMCA!!!!

I absolutely love all of the yoga instructors. They change their classes all the time and I always finish a class thinking, "that was perfect!".

I like the friendly instructors and the many friends I have made at the Y. I come the the Kennett YMCA at least 3 times a week and always come away feeling better both physically and emotionally. Thank you YMCA!!
I have been a member for many years. I think the Y has a broad membership representing our community and I enjoy the diversity there. Also, I think they Y does a nice job maintaining the facility. The Y offers me a large variety of choices for exercise classes and has an wide array of options available to me. Additionally, I find the staff friendly and welcoming. Overall, I have been very happy being a member and plan to continue to be for hopefully a long time to come.
The woman at the front desk who is always so upbeat and cherry. You can't help but break out of your depression every time you pass by and get greeted by her cheer and warm smile. Also, as a senior, your steam room, tho faulty to a point, it's the very best to experience!
