Susan Potter was excellent. I called your office - she answered the phone - came out to my property the next day. Very soon thereafter, she came out with the photo team (Monday), the listing went online Tuesday, open house that Thursday evening, two offers on Friday, and a full price offer accepted on Saturday!

She saw the unique value of the property - on a lake with 5mph speed limit - along with it's other charms and highlighted that in the listing.

One suggestion is to be more clear up front about the real estate fees. Explain that if the buyer isn't represented, the seller is still expected to pay the buyer's 3%, the seller's 3% and whatever that additional 1% represents. I was expecting a 3% commission (seller's) and was very unpleasantly surprised to learn it was really 7%. Susan was gracious and worked with me on this and we agreed to a 5% total but it would've been so much better if I had understood that up front. Remember that although real estate is your world, it's murky to many sellers.

All in all, a very good experience. I also was very pleased with Joe Gorgoni Law Offices that Susan recommended. They were great. Thank you!

Peg went above and beyond to ensure I felt heard and supported through this entire journey. She would block entire days to see back to back properties with me, tailor searches to homes she knew would fit my preferences, and was always available to answer my questions. Peg was then the glue that bound our team to the seller’s after my offer was accepted and ensured that everyone on both sides of the fence fulfilled their responsibilities.
