They have something for everyone in the family.
They make you feel like a part of their YMCA family. They make a point to remember your name, to stop and visit - they're just friendly.
Great classes, friendly staff
EVERYONE who works there at the Cleaver Center is so personable and caring. And the people that attend are all nice too. It feels like home. And the locker rooms are so clean. My daughter and I love this Y the best of two we have been to, it is open and cheery. We liked the diet class with Joan. And Carolyn and Nina are fun in the exercise classes. Love the coaches too. (Lindsey, Linzell - oh, I hope I spelled them right, fix it for me if I didn't, and Maggie, etc.) So EVERYONE IS GREAT. I can't believe I am saying this - BUT, it makes it fun to exercise.

Provide a convenient clean place to workout
I have really enjoyed learning from the fitness trainers, and the reception staff is always very friendly.
I'm happy with the classes offered & I like the community feeling. I feel very welcomed, like I'm a part of the community there.
The exercising equipment is always available to me when I need it.
The Y offers various classes to meet the needs of its members. I like the variety of choice of programs offered throughout the week to equip me with resources to maintain a healthy life style.
Programming for all levels - toddlers to seniors, Silver Sneakers to 'Piyo' and 'Bodycombat' - and community events - kids' night out, support groups (diabetes and stroke), etc. It lives up to being a 'community' center, and is inclusive.
Show that they really care about our health, in a time when sometimes your own doctor care is skeptical.
Cleanliness, friendliness and inclusiveness.

something for everyone
The Y Provides a great sense of community. The staff is friendly and third to get to know everyone.
The activity that I signed-up for is wonderful. My special-needs son is able to come with me. He happens to be an adult...48yrs. of age. He loves coming to the Y as well. He motivates me when I become lazy. Our low-impact instructor is a very special individual. She is a natural motivator. P.S. Our instructors name is(FOXY)
Friendly, professional, welcoming, excellent staff.
Place to connect with community and great classes
I would recommend the YMC to other families with young kids. My son has loved the basketball program, and my twins are currently enrolled in swimming lessons. They've had more advances in swimming in the first two lessons than I saw all summer, and they LOVE Beth and the other teachers.
One point of feedback - for parents (especially single parent families), it would be great to have more early morning class times that would allow me to come after/before picking kids up without missing too much work. Like 7:30-8:30am classes. And/or more babysitting options!
Have programs for a diverse population (ie., age, abilities, interests, etc.)
I have been a member at the Cleaver Family YMCA for a very long time and really like it. The staff, the facility, the community -- all a really great vibe.
I will use this space, however, to tell you that I do not at all think it's appropriate for children to be permitted to use equipment in the workout/weight room. Even though they go through "training" there is no supervision and they are often using equipment incorrectly. Their parents leave them unattended in the weight room and go to Yoga or Bootcamp classes, so the kids are on their own. I was on a treadmill the other day when a young girl got on, fell down, and could've been badly hurt had I and another member not rushed to her rescue. These kids are using equipment that gym members want to use, but have to wait for the kids who are often fooling around, looking at their phones, not paying attention, and using the equipment incorrectly (which can be incredibly harmful to them). This is a reason for people to opt to leave the Y and find a workout facility that doesn't permit this.
I strongly recommend you reconsider this policy. It does no one any good - except parents who are looking for an easy "babysitting" option. More important than the inconvenience to other gym members is the potential for danger and/or injury to these young people.
I truly appreciate the diversity of the people who belong to the Y , as well as the diversity of class offerings.
You always say hello when I come in and when I leave. Great interaction with members.

Availability of classes and the friendliness of meeting people and the tinstructors are superb!!
