My second home😀
Answer questions in a helpful, warm manner. They all greet me when I come in, ask how I'm doing. If I need something, they see that I get the answer, and ask if I need anything else.
The trainer I have is Stephanie. She encourages me, and when I meet a goal, she congratulates me and tells me she's proud of me. I'm doing strength training to recover from an injury.
Wide variety of options for all ages
Just about everything except listen to its patrons.
Hold classes for all AOA that meet their needs and provides a very busy Social Calendar 📅 by Kathy Armitage. Her commitment to her AOA Members is truly amazing by providing seminars, exercise, water and land classes. Her goal is to keep us healthy, strong and able to live at home as we age.
I love the variety of class options and times to take them. It's great to find a class you enjoy and then be able to find convenient times to take it since it's offered more than one specific time. I also very much appreciate child care. Our previous fitness center was much smaller and all kids had to be together in child care. I like that my children can go to a room with other kids their age to play. I also love the dedicated lap lanes at the pool. I seldom have to share when I go to swim, but the other swimmers are very courteous so sharing is never a problem either.
Keep it up!

Lots of great equipment. Would like to see more free weights in the upstairs outside of the workout rooms. I like to use free weights, but the bottom section is usually very full of males, I am a female and would just love a space upstairs away from everything to use more free weights. If the workout rooms are empty, I will go in there, but that's not always the case.

The one thing that my wife and I find quite irritating is that the lazy river is almost always closed in the afternoon when we come in no matter what time it is. WE are both senior citizens and I am a 100% disabled vet. Either there is poor staffing practices or the staff on hand is not placed properly. On several occasions I have seen a Lifeguard placed in the lap pool area with no one swimming and if a patron were to come in there are open lanes in the main pool complex. Plus the head lifeguard is in the office most all of the time of our visit usually just surfing the net? while there are individuals wanting to use the lazy river but can't due to no one staffing that area that can easily be seen from the lifeguard station which should be sufficient to open even without a guard in the middle of the lazy river. I realize that the Y is slow in the afternoon but this limits the quality of mine and other patrons visit that have leg and other injuries that do not allow a standard hike. Please take this into consideration with staffing and placement of staff thank you..
