I have been a member of the YMCA both here in Kansas, Iowa, Minnesota,New Jersey and California since 1992 and grateful for the integrity and healthy living focus of the YMCA nationwide.
But here in Kansas, I am literally called my name when I enter and leave the facility before I even check in and I think that that is pretty awesome and literally never happens anywhere else!
1. Swimming facility and schedules :)

I love the diversity - age, race, gender, physical ability. I appreciate the kindness of the staff. I appreciate the cleanliness of the areas I utilize.
One note - if someone could reach out to Jerey to see if it might help to have a tool to clean the treadmill belts. He doesn’t complain at all. I’ve just observed that it’s getting harder for him to bend down and clean them.
There are inexpensive options that could make the job easier on him if he would be interested.

The steam room is fantastic. After a workout it felt wonderful.
It is close. I do water fitness and enjoy the classes and teachers. Amazing how much more I can do in the water. Front desk employees are friendly and helpful.
Friendly environment
I’ve been a member there for about 5 years. I enjoy the atmosphere and staff - many I’ve gotten to know. I’ve appreciated the changes to the facility and mostly positive interactions with other members and guests. I typically don’t get involved with groups, boot camps or fitness classes and enjoy the space and opportunities to put in my own workouts - my way. One last note, I think the facility is well maintained.

I like the relationship i have developed with both staff and other participants utilizing the Y. There is amble parking and it reasonably close to my home.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The groups are lead by some outstanding instructors. Administrative staff is very approachable and listens/addresses concerns. My overall experience with Providence YMCA has been very positive.
