The following comments were submitted by our customers when asked to provide feedback on our service. The technician was very professional--- arriving on time, providing clear direction regarding procedures, covering shoes, and working efficiently.
I wish you had told me beforehand to sweep the floor good. I just assumed that sweeping would be part of the cleaning. The floor was very clean, but I had to go back with the broom and sweep up stuff and had to clean the baseboards where hair and dust had settled.
Mr. Galyean was contacted and asked about the comments. He was unaware of any concerns and said the floor looked great.
Although we were a bit confused regarding the comments, we took the opportunity to review the information we provide to all our customers. In particular, to be sure that any of the flooring surfaces that we are being asked to clean are free from excessive debris before we arrive. We believe that by communicating information such as this to our customers in advance, their expectations will hopefully be in line with the service delivered.

the carpet is still wet 24hours after the process. can you say mold or at least damage to the pad? I use to shampoo carpets at a younger age and this is totally unacceptable!
We contacted the homeowner within a few hours of receiving the negative feedback. She was worried because carpet was still damp and she was expecting company. Manager Ike Owens and floor care tech Isaac Owens went to the home and installed air movers on the slightly damp carpet before noon. Isaac returned to the home mid-afternoon and carpet was dry. Air movers had already been unplugged and set by the door for us to pick up. Customer is pleased. (pad did not get wet and there is no need for concern about mold since all dry within 30 hours of cleaning)

The following email was sent to homeowner as well as a message left on her recorder offering reservice even though the notes on the invoice stated excessive wear, pet issues and the carpet has never been cleaned.

Thank you for allowing ServiceMaster by Cornerstone to clean you carpet. We are sorry that you were not pleased with the carpet cleaning service on June 27 at 1820 Cluman Cv. in Cordova. I reviewed the invoice and read the notes regarding excessive wear, pet issues and that the carpet has never been cleaned before. Our system and products are some of the best on the market. However, there are some conditions that cleaning simply will not reverse. Nevertheless, we would like to offer you a re-clean of the areas we cleaned on June 27 at no additional charge. Although I can not guarantee the results will be much different, at least we will know that your carpet has been given the best chance possible to be cleaned. My den rug has never looked the same. They picked it up two different times and recleaned it. There is nothing that Service Master can do.
This rug was brought in for cleaning, cleaned and returned to the customer. Soon after the rug was returned, the customer called and said the rug looked darker is some spots. We picked up the rug again and brought it back to the shop to re-clean. However, upon inspection, the "dark" areas appeared only to be the light reflection when looking at the rug from different angles. Nevertheless, the rug was re-cleaned and dried. The results were no different. The rug is clean and looks good. However, the customer is still not happy. We are attempting to contact the customer to find out what an acceptable remedy will be.

I am very sorry that you are displeased with the results of our cleaning of your rug. Having inspected the rug when it was brought back in for re-cleaning, I think I saw what you were referring to as darker shaded areas. As I continued my inspection, I looked at the rug from different angles and the shading was not there. Nevertheless, I had our technician re-clean the entire rug and groom it before it dried. The results were the same. The only shading I observed was due to lighting from different angles. I assure you the cleaning products we use for rug cleaning, do not cause color changes or any kind of damage to the fabric of the rugs we clean. However, I want you to be a satisfied customer and am willing to discuss this further to come up with a fair solution. Please contact our office at 624-9200 so we can talk more about it.

Isaac was so pleasant and respectful while in our home cleaning our carpets. Also there was an issue where the carpets did not dry properly, and he came out to correct the problem. Also the office staff that i spoke with on the phone were so kind and willing to make the situation right. You guys get an A+ for customer satisfaction!
I was very satisfied with the cleaning. The technician was friendly, informative and very professional.
The high traffic areas were not concentrated on at all. Only the ones at the doors and I had to ask for that. However, the ones going from the doors to other parts of the house were not properly done. It only took him about 35 mins to do my house. The young man that did it was so nice but I just think maybe he was in a hurry. I just feel that if the door areas could be cleaned, and they were worse than the other areas, then the other areas could have been done better than they were. I don't think 35 mins of cleaning can really get them clean. That is only about 10 minutes per room and my front room is a large room. The dining room is about average. Then he did my hall and my bedroom. He made one swipe each time. My appointment was 4 to 6 so I was expecting about 2 hours of cleaning but he got there about 3:05 and was gone before 4:00. I don't want to get anyone in trouble, because like I said, he was a very nice young man. But I just do not feel that my carpets were cleaned professionally. I could have done what he did myself. We use you guys for restoration work but I don't know that I would recommend you for carpet cleaning. Sorry!
Customer was contacted 5/1/13. She explained that the traffic lanes were the only problem. I described the potential problems with berber and in particular how traffic wear may create a condition that will be difficult and sometimes impossible to fix. She seemed to understand. Nevertheless, a re-service of the area in question was scheduled for this week. She was pleased with the recommended solution, but understood there ma be a traffic pattern remaining after we clean.

The tech was on time, courteous, knowledgeable and got the work done quickly. The carpets looked great when he was done. I will certainly recommend you!
