Mathnasium has been a lifeline for my son's Algebra grade, as well as his understanding of the subject.
My son went from 45’s to now brining home 100’s and on a tough day 80’s. Staff is amazing and he’s always excited to go!! Would highly recommend for anyone struggling or just needing some additional help. They offer test prep as well.
Yes the learning experience is very helpful. If a child is not self motivated there will be issues with progress. I have to sit with Hannah during each session to be sure she is understanding and finding the correct answers. However I do not sit with her when she does her mastery check to evaluate her progress. Some of the instructors do not spend much time with her, only asking if she has it. She always says yes. Some do the first problem with her to actually see if she does. The main instructor I believe is Anthony is great in explaining the format for finding the answer. The "smart math approach is very helpful if your child will actually use it. I have a problem with my finger counter using the newly learned formulas.
My daughter Sarah is a 9th grade student and as recently joined mathnasium and she is really enjoying the experience.
She is missing some math skills and was struggling in moving forward. The team at mathnasium were able to give her an assessment test that helped prepared a learning trajectory specific to her situation.
She says that all her tutors are very patient and professional. She is catching up pretty fast and will be ready for success.

My daughter’s experience with Mathnasium has been nothing less than excellent. She has always lacked confidence in math, until she started tutoring. My daughter was struggling in her Calculus class quite a bit, but after 2 months of tutoring at the Mathnasium she brought her grade up to an 88! We were thrilled with the help that she received at Mathnasium. Her tutor, Tommy, was great and very patient!

Communication with Mr. Sunny has been wonderful. It’s very nice to know that I had a “team” working with me to help my daughter gain confidence in math. She has always thought she wasn’t smart or “enough” because of her math grades, but through the lessons and the extra she practice, I think she is slowly coming to believe otherwise.
Sonny and his team did a great job of creating a plan for Kambri and set attainable steps for her to reach these goals. It was clear that her confidence grew and her level of numeric awareness improved. We will be using Mathnasium again next year.
