Yes the learning experience is very helpful. If a child is not self motivated there will be issues with progress. I have to sit with Hannah during each session to be sure she is understanding and finding the correct answers. However I do not sit with her when she does her mastery check to evaluate her progress. Some of the instructors do not spend much time with her, only asking if she has it. She always says yes. Some do the first problem with her to actually see if she does. The main instructor I believe is Anthony is great in explaining the format for finding the answer. The "smart math approach is very helpful if your child will actually use it. I have a problem with my finger counter using the newly learned formulas.
