Mr. Scott has found a way to connect with my son and improve his interest in math better than his current math teacher. During a recent parent teacher conference, the math teacher mentioned seeing improvements in my son's comprehension of concepts as evidenced by an uptick in his test score. When we mentioned our son's recent enrollment in Mathnasium and virtual tutoring, the math teacher said noticed a difference.

My daughter attended the math kangaroo. We registered by mistake as we were mainly looking for CoGAT. The teacher was really nice and hard working. Did not care about time. He concentrate on how much they learn.
My kids go to Kumon and my daughter graduated from Kumon. Have other three kids in Kumon. Thinking to switch but hard as I have been Kumon for 9 years since my first daughter joined...
My daughter went to Mathnasium two years ago and has improved a lot, they always give us information about programs that can help improve grades in school

You have helped my daughter tremendously both with "filling in the gaps" and helping with homework. The times when you introduce her to new topics, she is familiar with it enough so that she understands the topic better when introduced in class. You are the only place I know that will address both basic skills and homework simultaneously. Thank you!

Good instructors who can work explain the math
I continue to be impressed with Mathnasium's program and my child's progress. It is a very well run and organized company which keeps track of student progress in a very methodical and timely fashion. My daughter complains that all of the teachers are helpful, but some need to work on their social approach, tone and prosody with folks. However, these characteristics do not usually get in the way. Hour and a half sessions are a little long for the older kids, but I understand the reasoning behind it. Overall, the price is well worth the service and piece of mind. Only place I know that will work on homework in combination with lagging skills. That takes a special talent.
If your son or daughter need math help, this is the place!

My daughter is doing fantastic in math. She is doing her homework with no issues and finally has an interest in math. The teachers have been very helpful giving her more than one way to solve a problem and working with her when she has a question.

Mathnasium has been very helpful for my daughter. The only thing preventing me from giving it a 10 is that sometimes my daughter would like to work with certain tutors and its hard to know what days her favorite instructors are there. Just from my observations, most of the teachers appear knowledgeable about students with weaknesses in math and possible learning disabilities, but it would never hurt for a refresher....
