Mathnasium has been a very useful program for my kids. It helped clarify basic concepts much better than regular school. They help with regular school maths homework too which helps my kids manage their busy time schedule between regular school work and extra tutuions. The teachers are very qualified in teaching concepts in sync with public schools.
The owner (Jonathan) is very receptive to feedback and addresses our needs quickly. I am AMAZED at how well the tutors can redirect my 7-year-old when he gets antsy. In the 6 months we've been using Mathnasium, my 12-year-old went from a place where she was in tears every night doing her math homework to a place where she volunteers that she "likes" math and says she is "good at it." She even helps her friends when they are struggling in class!

My kids have been attending Mathnasium in Livermore for two years. All the teachers are caring and focused on improving my kids’ understanding of topics. Sending my kids to Mathnasium has taken a burden of worry off my shoulders.
My son had lost his love for math when we moved and he was forced to change from a Montessori to the traditional approach. He did not feel challenged. Since he started Mathnasium, month ago, I can see him enjoying discovering new concepts, understanding the whys and hows, and getting challenged everyday. He is sharing more about his learnings and we found out he needed the face to face interaction that covid took away. The approach Joe and the team in Livermore use is tailor to the kids and builds the confidence to succeed. Thanks so much for supporting us and bring back the joy of math and solving problems with creativity.
My kid love the program
I think the world of this program and the Livermore staff and am so glad we were able to get on board when we did. My daughter chose to challenge herself by embarking on accelerated Math at the middle school age and sure needed the extra time and reinforcement that Mathnasium offers. We had a great recent virtual online experience, very easy to use and civil. We plan to continue this fall and have and will continue to refer this program to my friends. We really appreciate this opportunity.
The best tution program and the best staff. Joining this program was the best thing for my kids education. They got their fundamental concepts clear and even got the practice to help perform better in tests. All this without additional time or workload. really like the coaches and director. great atmosphere and makes math easier to digest.
only suggestion is to be more proactive with parents to discuss progress and checkpoint, at least once a month. it was only until i wanted to discuss my kids progress was i able to see that velocity wasn't quite fast enough to catch up to current school curriculum, so we worked out that we could bring home worksheets; that way we could spend more actual mathnasium time for current school concepts and practice.
We have been very happy with the supportive staff at Mathnasium. I have two children attending and they are improving in their math confidence and finding enjoyment in math that was not there prior to attending. Thank you!

My kids went there for couple of years. Even though kids weren't enthusiastic going to mathnesium 3 times a week in addition to their school schedule they did tell me "Thank you Mommy for sending us to Mathnesium. I can see how I caught up in math and things in the classroom seem so simple when the rest of the class is struggling to understand. " they are ahead of the class and feel more confident about themselves.
