Hi! Overall, we are very happy with the experience that our children have had at Mathnasium. Our high school sophomore will be entering his junior year with Calculus A/B; he attended Mathnasium throughout covid so he didn't miss a beat with a year of online school. Our daughter has now been at Mathnasium for almost a year. She entered in 5th grade with gaps in her understanding of 4th grade math. She has progressed through 4th and 5th grades and is beginning 6th grade content. We are grateful to mathnasium and very happy with the progress she has made.
There is one instructor at Mathnasium that my daughter consistently does not connect with. It does impact her level of enjoyment of math. Everyone else at Mathnasium is great and she has positive comments and enjoys.
We appreciate that Mathnasium is an option to support our childrens' learning.

Our son really enjoys mathnasium and is learning quite a bit. We can tell because his scores on the standardized testing is always >95% and he enjoys and looks forward to going to mathnasium.

We love Mathnasium! My daughter was struggling so much with math during the school year. We would spend long hours working on math homework together and every night was a struggle to get her to understand just some of the basic fundamentals before having to do the actual assignment. I was feeling defeated every night and she was feeling discouraged. Mathnasium became part of the team for us. They help meet the child where they are at. With their help everyday, they were able to start from the very beginning to help her understand some of the basic fundamentals. By the time we were home doing homework, we could just jump in and start working on the actual assignment without having to do so much of a review. She was able to bring her grade up from a D to an A. They also acknowledged her hard work and praised her at the center with a prize. They have so many incentives to keep the children “wanting” to work hard and “wanting” to attend their sessions. She enjoys tutoring. She has built so much confidence with math. I found that I didn’t have to do so much sitting down with her when it came to homework as well. She’s become so independent it’s hard to believe she was ever struggling. It certainly is a process and not something that changes over night. But if you are consistent and trust in the process you will certainly see the results! Highly recommend!!!! Especially if you are struggling daily with helping your child comprehending even the basic math concepts.

We came to Mathnasium because my daughter was really struggling in Precalc. By working with you, she was able to bring her grade up to a high B.

Mathnasium of Crystal Lake has been wonderful for our family. When a transition between schools left our child playing some catch up, Mathnasium stepped in to help fill the gaps. From our very first visit, our child has felt welcomed, supported and genuinely comfortable learning there. It has truly become an invaluable part of our child's education.
The fantastic tutoring allowed our high school junior to pull her grade up from failing to an A. We are so pleased!

Already referred three families. My kids went from C students to A students. One of my kids is skipping two grade levels this upcoming year. Takes away the stress of managing homework and grades!
