We started Mathnasium in 7th grade, and we wish we had joined sooner. We caught up to my kid's math discrepancies due to COVID-19 shutdowns that impacted many students.
If you want your child to succeed and have a solid math foundation, I would suggest twice-a-week sessions.
We might join back once in highschool for homework help.

The team at West Center is phenomenal. They are always helpful and try to accomodate parents as best as they can. Justin and Scott are always a pleasure to deal with and my kids have excelled at school since they joined!
Great program! Kids like it and they are not struggling with math at school anymore. I love flexibility of scheduling. It's very easy to reschedule if plans change.

We have been with Mathnasium for over a year now and have seen huge advancements in the boys' abilities. Grateful for the added practice in preparation for high school testing.
I have a great experience at this Mathnasium center. They are very helpful they help my granddaughter go over math problems to help her prepare for the High School Admissions Exam(HSAT). They give reports after each session, allow her to make up missed classes and will text if they have opening for her to make up classes. This center came highly recommended and my granddaughter like this location. She attended another location but says this one is 100% better.

My daughter struggled a lot with math. Within one session here, she couldn’t wait to come back. They helped her understand in the ways she needed. She has done about 7 sessions and she came home from school one day and said she was able to raise her hand three times during math to answer the questions and she got them all right. Her confidence has been raised so much. So so thankful for Mathnasium.
Mathnasium has made math learning really fun for my 7th grader. Additionally, everyone there is very friendly and helpful in terms of scheduling.
We recently enrolled our 5th grader in Mathnasium. He has always been good at math, but as the level becomes more advanced, I wanted him to continue learning in a fun and engaging way without losing interest. The Hartland Mathnasium location is perfect, with excellent teachers who make math enjoyable. My son loves attending his classes, never feels bored, and truly enjoys the learning process. Both of my children immensely benefit from what they learn at this center. Case in point is their math teachers at their respected schools told them so! Which is more than sufficient vote of confidence for both me and them. The center is very well run, excellent teachers, obviously devoted to teach, and there is an air of serenity and fine tuned organization within the center which both of my daughters find very comforting. And we love the diversity. Not to mention it is a great value. Wholeheartedly recommend to parents who desire the best for their children.
The kids come out excited about wha they learned. It is helping them understand what they are learning at school. The timeframe and scheduling works well with our family's schedule.
Mathnasium at south Elgin is great & faculty are really knowledgeable.
Unlike before, my son now has interest and is beginning to gain confidence in his knowledge of Mathematics.

We are extremely happy with our experience at the Ravenswood Mathnasium. The team has done an incredible job pinpointing the gaps in both of my children's learning and working with them until they achieve true mastery. My kids are genuinely excited to go to Mathnasium each week, and it's amazing to see their confidence grow.
I also appreciate their approach to motivation, using fun extrinsic prizes to reward hard work, which has helped foster a genuine, intrinsic love for the subject. A special shout-out to Rachel, the center manager, who consistently goes above and beyond to support us. She's always so helpful with scheduling and making sure our family is happy with the service. We couldn't be happier and highly recommend this center!
Best decision for my child. He is learning so much and excelling in his math class. He is learning the fundamentals of math and not just what he needs to know for the class.
Our experience at Mathnasium has been great. They've gotten our daughter up to speed in the time frame they said they would. More importantly, she always wants to go, which is speaks volumes for the program and the tutoring they offer.
