Point Loma is great because their multiple studios allow a really extensive schedule. The only things I didn't enjoy during my last experience is 1) the parking lot is a nightmare. "Compact" doesn't even do justice to how small the spots to park in are, and most people take up two spots. 2) my instructor wasn't having a good day that day teaching. It seemed like she was trying out a new sequence and handnt refined it yet. As a teacher I understand the process. Just expected more out of a senior instructor teaching a 1.5

The same warm reception, amazing vibe, clean facilities, and smiles everywhere. It's why I'm a black tag member. Thank you for the amazing experience and great workout.

I only take classes from Tabu and Katie B. I live far from the studio - takes me an hour to get there so I try to get there once a week - usually Tabu's Saturday 7:30 am class. Been practicing yoga for over 10 years - now I only go to teachers that are worth the time and effort it takes to get on the mat. I discovered Tabu when he was teaching one class at the Del Mar studio and when he stopped teaching there - I started driving to Point Loma once a week. It is a stretch but worth it. I would recommend him and Katie B. - those are the only two teachers I have taken and I think they are both great. I do recommend their classes and I have had a couple of folks check him out and agreed with me.

I have been going to CPY for 10 years now. I love the facilities, the instructors, the variety and the schedules. I am a business owner and work insane hours so to have a choice of classes anytime from 6am to 10pm is convenient for me.
I miss having more hot yoga classes though, there is really only one or two per week now at the studio(s) I frequent.
