For kids that have musical talent and don’t necessarily play organized sports, the performance program really makes it feel like a team effort and builds musical collaboration and confidence in all of these kids. This program is on par with team athletics in that they practice day-in and day-out and when these kids put the time and effort in the results really show. For my son, it’s really been great to be a part of this program. And, the program is welcoming to all levels.
The teachers are great and watching the performances really demonstrates how much the kids have learned. My son loves it which makes me like it! Everyone who works at SOR is nice and flexible as well.

My son Reggie has only had one instructor but it couldn't have been a better fit. I would say that Reggie marches to the beat of his own drummer and his instructor Dave has intuitively let him be himself in the lessons and it has been great. I appreciate his approach and Reggie loves him.
The instructors are great with the kids! It's such a fun way to introduce music to kids that make it easier for them to be motivated to practice.
The School of Rock's performance-based teaching style is great because it made my daughter feel successful right away, which is keeping her excited and interested. We are extremely happy with Matt Zannin as our daughter's drum instructor. He keeps her engaged and really seems to listen to her. He sends us a weekly email with detailed information about her progress and assignments.

My daughters both enjoy the personal lessons. They perform fun songs on their instruments that they enjoy and they learn a lot too. It holds their interest and makes them want to practice. We are so grateful for School of Rock.
