The question is “what do you like about our programs?” The answer is there is no like because we LOVE everything thing about the very high quality musical education at Highwood School of Rock from the outstanding instructors to the very competent and communicative management! Always giving a shout out to the one and only truly exceptional Bryan Resendiz who has been a life changing instructor for my son. Bryan is truly a beautiful soul and a very talented hardworking instructor and musician. My son recently started lessons with Steve and Jack B. and has really enjoyed lessons with them also! And Maggie and Danielle are phenomenal management! They are very hardworking and truly listen; they are the best!! The thing that really strikes me about this program is how the students become very talented musicians who learn how to play their instruments almost immediately. But most of all my son has made many amazing friends and has learned to be part of a team of other musicians who support each other and try to bring joy to others through the amazing gift of music.
It has been a real plus building my sons confidence overall. He is enjoying singing , learning music and hanging out with others.

The pace seems to be about right. Not too slow and def not too fast to burn out the kid. Instructors are very good and erin is great at scheduling and troubleshooting.
Bill has always loved coming to lessons and practice. The teachers are flexible, to do classes on zoom, if he can’t make it in. He has formed a good friendship with his instructors. It’s been three years and he is still coming. Love the shows the kids put on each season.

Very enthusiastic and positive teachers. Our son loves the environment and has learned a ton. He loves going to his lesson and to the group rehearsals.
Our son has really enjoyed both his SOR lessons and the performance program. He went from being on stage with his back to the audience to becoming a real performer. It has been great to see his progression.
My kids have a blast and learn a ton about music, Anna is great for my daughter and my lessons are very helpful in making me slightly less terrible at guitar each week

The kids' instructors, Guillermo and Justin Radke, are excellent and the whole Evanston School of Rock is a positive and welcoming place where it is easy to feel like family.
Everyone is very helpful, kind and supportive. The kids really enjoy going every week. Whenever we need to reschedule a lesson, Danielle is always helpful and accommodating.
