School of Rock has great programs for all ages and skill levels. My kids and I love playing in actual bands in addition to private lesson instruction. The instructors are really great and really give great feedback.
Interactive, great instructors and the kids have fun!
I can not recommend SoR CF enough. My girls are thriving there and the instructors are all supportive, kind and excellent teachers. The band shows are absolutely the highlight. Thank you SoR!!
Please make the next show venue much closer to the area where the school is located. This was much too far away.

The guitar instructors with whom I've worked are personable and have music degrees. It's clear they love music, which is wonderful because so do I. I love the time I spend at School of Rock.
We liked the opportunity to explore a variety of instruments while learning basics about rhythm and musicality.
Great crew of staff and instructors…not only does one get private lessons, geared towards actually playing songs but also getting to be in a band and put on shows. Such a great investment in my teenager!

Very knowledgeable, respectful, and motivational staff. Programs offered help the student/s grow as a musician and have fun doing it. Programs also help eliminate stage fright.

You inspire my daughter to try her own music from the base that you are teaching her. I can tell that she has been learning a lot since S of R started. And I love that she has kept the same enthusiasm from day one.

I like the variety of types of instruments and availability of different times. I also like the concerts.
The instructors are great, good with the kids, patient and fun so the kids really enjoy it while learning how to play their instruments and work together.
We very much appreciate the instruction our son has been receiving for almost a year at the School of Rock in Southlake, TX. However, it has been frustrating being charged $150 for the mid-season and end-of-season shows. To date we have paid $450 to School of Rock for 3 mid-season shows and 3-end of season shows but my son has only been able to play at one of them. We let the teachers and the front office know when we started taking lessons there that we try very hard to keep Sundays as a day for family and church. We fully realize that this is our choice and we accept the consequences that come from that choice. However, to repeatedly be charged this money and then watch his Rock 101 group be scheduled to perform on Sundays is frustrating. It leaves us with a feeling of just flushing money down the drain. I have repeatedly kindly requested that his Rock 101 group not be assigned to perform on Sundays but the problem repeats itself. I cannot say, right now, that I would recommend School of Rock to other students seeing as how the message sent to us is that you are more than happy to charge our credit card, but not accommodate our family's request. I hope that the Sunday concerts will please be taken into consideration and hopefully a better compromise can be found. Thanks so much! - Name removed
SoR is flexible and offers a place for my child to learn guitar in a safe nonjudgmental environment. I’ve seen the improvements my child has made, and more importantly have seen my child begin to love music.
The emphasis on playing with a group is the main draw of the program. I believe it really helps making the lessons have a real goal. The deadline for the seasons show and the responsibility to learn your parts for not just yourself but the group is what makes the program successful.
Great teachers and fellow musicians. Lots of good people supporting each other in something we all love to do. The teachers are thoughtful in their critiques and help you improve. I also like being able to provide input as to the song list, and having several shows to choose from.
That you have a program for little ones (preschoolers).
I've taken guitar lessons, drum lessons, and I participate in the adult band. I don't have a bad word to say about any of it. I like the way the school is run, I like my teachers, and I've improved a lot as a musician since I've been attending! Couldn't recommend enough.
In my second "season" at SoR and still rocking! Playing bass on 4 songs and singing Metallica, in an upcoming show. At least I call it singing! :) You will be playing rock shows in months. You learn quickly because you're accountable to your band mates weekly, and it's much more fun than just learning boring old chords! Turn that air guitar into a real one!
My son enjoys attending School of Rock and working with Arial, she is patient, easy going and is open to the genre he enjoys. He looks forward to his lesson each week. It’s a great program but expensive.
The approach to teaching and welcoming style. I also really appreciate the scheduling flexibility!
My son loves School Of Rock. The instructors are all amazing. The confidence the kids build as they perform. The friendships they build with their band mates and instructors is awesome. This is a great program to get your kids involved in.
Great instructors, great administrative/office leadership. People are the heart of any good organization and this School of Rock location has great people.
