I think the model of a lesson plus a group class gives them a chance to see the true joys of what learning an instrument entails. My daughter has benefited greatly from the satisfaction of using her new skills.
We absolutely love school of rock Temecula! My daughter has thrived with the instructors, performance bands and also house band! She worked so hard to be a part of the prestigious house band and really enjoys performing with this great group of kids! The private lessons are too notch!

I like how the students get to meet and interact with peers who are musicians as well. The time spent together on a weekly basis allows the students to form friendships as well.
The instructors and all staff members are great! They make it fun and interesting and this encourages students to continue their programs and lessons. The vibe is welcoming and accepting which is very important to kids, especially teenagers.
My child enjoys it, she feels safe there and it has helped her thrive so it means a lot to her, so I have positive feedback. If my child didn’t enjoy it or didn’t feel safe there I would have different feedback. It’s all about the kids!

My son loves your performance program and house band and has grown a lot as a bass player/guitarist at SoR. His instructors are great.
Two pieces of constructive feedback:
- I thought The Brit was way too small/overcrowded for an end of season show. It's fine for summer camps which are smaller.
- Regarding House Band: I think it's hard to get established as a new player in it because there's a large existing set of music that previous year students are used to playing. The social dynamics are also a little clicky. Makes it difficult to "break in" initially. It would be good if new music was assigned more frequently rather than relying so much on the back catalog.

Our son has had experience with guitar lessons and performance program - both have been great since the very beginning few years back. Material at guitar lessons has been evolving together with skills, and School of Rock does a great job arranging gigs (performance program) that we see as both purpose of and reward for the learning. Also, as a parent, I really appreciate that SoR has always been a very encouraging environment, especially if a kid is into rock genre.
They are really good at teaching very specificly.
I never played an instrument and learned how to not only play the drums at SOR but joined the grad school band and am now learning piano. The teaching staff there is A plus. School was never this much fun.
The staff at School of Rock has a very positive vibe. Angelo is an excellent teacher. Charlie and Sam make me feel welcomed and encouraged. They have been super helpful with scheduling. I am an adult learner. Angelo’s method is really working for me, helping me to fill in the gaps that have held me back for years. My husband is so impressed with my progress that he is signing up for lessons too!
I love that my daughter feels like a rock star. She is able to practice the vocal skills that she is learning in a way that motivates her and make it beyond fun.
It's a great space to explore and learn music. All the instructors have been great instructors. Such a welcoming space and everyone rocks!

I love how amazing the teachers and staff are. I feel like everyone knows our family and cares about my child's experience. They are committed to making sure he is challenged and grows, but also has a great time.
It all stems from the top. Craig Sasson is an outstanding Director/House Band Director. Instructors are top notch, Mike Caminiti, Sara Kapalow. Elliot that manages the day to day at the front desk is awesome. Always a friendly demeanor and very knowledgeable.
Very happy to have my son Ryan as part of the SoR CRESSKILL family.
