SOR is more than music lessons! It's like having a family of fellow music lovers. The kids are so eager to be a part of something so fun while they learn their craft. You guys do such a great job creating excitement about learning music. The program is also extremely well organized and everyone involved is incredibly professional and thorough.
The level of talent this school creates is just astounding. We watched our son’s first performance this weekend and were blown away. It was located at the Hard Rock Cafe and the ambiance not only made the kids feel like actual rock stars, but it was a treat for the audience. It went well beyond what we were expecting, in an amazing way! Thank you SoR for being an incredible place for my child and others to express their creativity.

My child looked forward to being with their "bandmates" every week. Garrett did a great job fostering friendship amongst the group. Megan is also an amazing instructor. She is so encouraging while still focusing on skill.
Beyond the amazing music, this is a family and they are there to support everyone. I really can't find the words to describe how amazing this place really is.

We love the program and the staff! I think it's a great environment for kids and my son is learning so much. My only suggestion would be better communication regarding sign ups.
I really don't understand what my options are for the summer and I didn't understand the concert communication. There are so many shows it's overwhelming to parse the information and feel like I did it correctly.
I just need to know which show my kiddo is in specifically. And specifically what my kid should sign up for next.
Our kids just started about 2 months ago. I like the pike scheduling app w.r.t how flexible it is to modify or see the passes etc. Very nicely done! Special thanks to Josiah for being available always to answer questions patiently and knowing answer to all questions. We are eager to try the Performance and Rock programs during the summer/fall season.
One suggestion would be to consider allowing one cancellation per month for either a vacation without having to do makeups. It gets very hard to find the desired make up slots with the same coach.
If your child is interested in participating in a band, School of Rock is an amazing program!
It sure, as parents aren’t really allowed back into the practice area. However, my son seems to love it.
Our son just finished his third Performance Program show and is having a blast! The instruction has been top notch, but more than that the supportive environment that SOR creates and the opportunities it provides for kids to play together in real bands at real venues are amazing. The progress our son has made is astounding.

The concert was great. The kids are really learning to play well and my son really enjoys working with Ace.
It’s fun for my kid and it’s fun to watch. It’s given her something to be passionate about and an opportunity to make good friends. It’s been a big self esteem booster.
My only constructive feedback is that it would be good to advise if a certain session has a large amount of folks playing the same instrument. Having to attend for 2 hours and only playing for a few minutes can be bit difficult.
Our individual and band teachers are wonderful and we have both learned so much. School of Rock really enriches my life! 😊
