Love School of rock. My son’s knowledge and curiosity about different types of music has definitely improved. He loves taking lessons there and the staff and teachers are very accommodating to cancellations/rescheduling lessons. Definitely recommend their school for anyone looking at starting or enriching their kids music interests.
My kid loves SOR so much! Her music journey here really inspired her a lot. She enjoyed every rehearsal and practice she did with her teacher Claire and the students. Nothing is better than exploring music with friends of similar ages. Music learning is not boring and isolated, you can enjoy it with your friends, that's the best part.

The staff at Red Bank School of Rock are amazing!! My boys have learned so much in one year and love everyone there! Benji is an awesome instructor!! My boys couldn’t be happier with all of the staff and kids!
My son's drum instructor, David F, has been great. Great balance of teaching and keeping it fun and not putting too much pressure on him. The Rock 101 band has been a positive experince, although the only thing I'd like for SOR to focus on is the enrollment numbers for each band and what instruments they play so there is ample time for each musician to play during practices and shows. Otherwise, SOR has been a great experience and it's been fun to watch the development of our son and to see him play up on stage! Thanks!
The SOR programs expose kids to all types of music and they are always meeting new kids with each session that they enroll in. They have definitely made my music kid more well rounded in his playing and music tastes!
The House Band is also a great program for students that are committed to music and wanting to take on a more independent role. It allows my child to learn the inner workings of a band and the importance of teamwork. It opens up playing in different venues and helps build his self confidence!
The instructors, admin staff, and the music director are fantastic! They go above and beyond to learn your student and encourage them to go outside their comfort zone. Highly recommend!

Ummm everything! My daughter started with you guys a while ago and felt OK about it and had to kind of drag her but once she started taking classes with Chris, she really loved going. He’s theee best! Love Joe as well
Everyone is so helpful
We love how encouraging and supportive the teachers are. They really understand neurodivergent kids and help them find confidence in their abilities - and they're great at helping kids find ways to integrate practice into their routine, which is wonderful to see as a parent of a neurodivergent kiddo.
It should also go without saying that the staff is amazing as music professionals too, but I'm going to say it anyways because they deserve the praise. :)
Have a suggestion that the summer season should end before school starts. Our schedule change from summer to fall schedule. so activities that could be done during the day in the summer go back to the afternoon, Therefore makes it difficult when the summer concert hasnt happened yet.
SOR has been incredible for my kid. She has mastered her instrument, but more importantly, she’s learned how to succeed as a part of a team. She’s also made friends for life!

I love everything that Trish, Rob, Elena, Niko and all the staff members do for the students and their parents! The communication is awesome and there’s such a sense of family! We love our SOR!
When we initially began our daughter's journey with Guitar and Rock 101 we didn't know what to expect as our girl is super fickle on extra curricular activities. To our surprise, she is not only enjoying her experience and rocking out, she's learning so much! Her progress is amazing! All of the staff that we've talked to have been wonderful to work with! Would HIGHLY recommend!!!
As parents, we always hope one day our children find a passion that makes them not only excel but also find mentors and friends that make them feel special. I strongly feel that SoR Clark has done for both my children. I have never met a more patient, friendly, and inspiring staff. This directly influences the growth and motivation in the kids at SoR Clark. We are forever grateful for the impact they have had on our kids.

My son loves Miss Kate, and he loves the opportunity to play all the instruments! He can’t decide whether he wants to be a “drummer who sings” or a “guitar player who sings” (his words). I also love how genuine all the teachers are with him.

I Like that the kids play current music
My 3 boys attended for a week during Summer and it was their favorite camp! They had very limited experience with instruments and loved being able to go from no skills to playing in a concert at the end of the week. The teachers were always patient with them and said they had a lot of fun learning. Given it was an all-day camp, I expected them to have a harder time, but they wanted to go back for more the following week!

Everyone is very helpful and supportive, no matter where you are on your journey. There are plenty of options to choose from for class times and rock band/performance band.
The programs are a great way for the kids to learn about music and performing as a band/team. The staff is great and interacts with the kids on a level that makes practice enjoyable and fun. My child has attended many camps over the years, rookies, Rock 101, and is now starting performance groups. This is literally the only activity that he agrees to continue over and over again.
All of our experiences with School of Rock San Jose have been amazing!! You can see that the staff truly cares about their students. It is clear that they strive to create a safe space for them to explore their interests and grow their talent. We love you, SOR San Jose!!!
