Orangetheory is the change I needed to reach my goals. I have referred two friends already who were on the fence to try it. The mix the cardio and weights is perfect. The encouragement from the instructor is inspirational to work harder and not to give up.
I know what level of workout pushes me, and I like being in the Orange while still going a little slower than everyone else so that I know I’m burning just as much. I also love watching myself grow and improve so I can slowly catch up to the faster and fitter people in the group. I love the pace and environment a lot too! Everyone is so nice. Nobody is judgemental. It’s not like high school gym period at all. I just wish it wasn’t so hard to get into the 6 AM class.

You tell me what to do and when to do it. The coaches are motivating. I feel like at this place, if I slacked, I would get called out on it. If I work out by myself I tend to slack.

It’s coach-directed, but I work at my own pace. I’m twice as old as most of the others but don’t feel odd-man out! I like the variety of workouts. Who knew how much could be done with free weights, treadmill and rowing machine? I’m hooked!
It takes the guesswork out of getting fit. I love the “personal trainer “ format.
I feel stronger after each workout and I know each session is something that I would never do on my own. It’s like having a personal trainer and a group of friends all in one!
The workout get's my heart rate going, allows me to work up a good sweat, and burns a lot of calories. It never gets old because it is a different workout every day. And, the coaches are great because they are encouraging without calling you out in front of everyone!
