It’s not boring! I was hesitant about joining because I hate the treadmill! Just being honest! Now it’s my favorite block of time. The hour goes by quickly and I know I’m getting a great workout. I have already seen my race times improve. Funny thing… I recently ran a 10K in Charlotte and didn’t realize until a few days later I had set a PR! I’m starting to compare my race times to previous years and I am much faster than I’ve been in a long time.

Incredibly supportive staff and coaches. The studio environment promotes progress and achievement, but at the same time creates a culture of camaraderie and “high fives”. I am a member in my mid-50’s and have never felt out-of-place. I encourage others to give it a try. You will immediately feel welcomed.
Personal attention
I visited OTF Lake Norman when my home studio was under renovations. I loved Lake Norman! The staff and coach (Jon) were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I have visited the studio again since my first time, and will continue to do so.

What I like about a OrangeTheory workout is that they mix cardio on the treadmill, with water rowers and weight room. The energy from trainers is awesome and motivates you to do your best. So it's a hour trainer based workout from going to one station to the next to optimize your maximum heart rate. When I started I was a little apprehensive doing cardio on a treadmill because I never ran on one before I always ran outside. But they do a good job of mixing push paces, base paces and all outs speeds. I love the weight room portion of the workout because every day the mix it up to target different muscle groups. So if you are thinking about trying out Orange Theory I would definitely give it a shot I have been going for 6 months now and absolutely love it

OTF has changed my life! I just completed my 51st workout, and at age 72, almost 73, I feel better than I have in 40 years. I’ve lost 20 pounds and then getting stronger every day. My blood pressure went from 130/80, To 110/60. My resting heart rate at night when I’m sleeping, is 50. Thank you orange fitness thank you all the wonderful instructors, you have give me a new life! You’re never too old, to join OTF!
