For me, I love organized workouts. It's 60 minutes of an awesome workout, the music is great, and the coaches are excellent. I highly recommend :)

I find it harder to be motivated to come & work out since Katie left. She was by far my favorite coach. She was great at encouraging me and she always called people by name and gave that personal touch to the studio that is absolutely missing now. If you hadn’t been in in a while she knew and told you she was glad you were back. She was personable and it felt like she cared about everyone. Now, no one knows or seems to care if you’ve been absent or even knows my name anymore.

The West Des Moines coaches are always great and I love the variety of workouts. I’ve been very happy with the new Tread & Lift 50 options as it’s nice to mix those in throughout the week.
I like the 3 different stations. I like 3G classes - 2G too much treadmill.
Admittedly I was a bit reluctant to start OT but my wife loved it and talked me into trying it out, so I did. That was 2 years ago. Now I am truly amazed at the growth in my physical fitness! I had never used a rower before- this instantly became the favorite- and used to hate running, but now I love it and will even be running a 5K this summer. The whole workout is perfect- love how each class is tailored and prepared and how the coaches engage and motivate everyone. And the sense of community is fantastic- people from all walks of life taking care of themselves and having a great time while doing it! The term "life-changing" is thrown around a lot these days, but here it is truly appropriate- OT has categorically changed my life (and my wife's) for the better, and it is not even close!

There is a flash sale that started just 4 days after I joined and staff isn't cooperative
Classes are hard to get into. Transformation challenge wasn't worth the $35. Do not like that you have to cancel withing 8 hour window at all - if someone is able to take your spot, you shouldn't be charged. getting way too crowded.
Efficiency! No wasted time yet achieving maximum impact.

Love the energy and vibe of the bunch. Makes me excited and motivated to come back every time for a session. The coaches are great and the peers are equally motivated.
I love the workouts at Orangetheory and the variety in the classes. The class times are not always the most convenient, especially with the latest class on a weekend being at 11:45. It would be great if there were some afternoon classes or even just a 1pm class. Additionally, it is an expensive membership which would prevent me from recommending to some of my colleagues and friends.

Motivation of coaches
I appreciate the real-time body metrics that help me understand personal thresholds. Also, the relatively unintimidating nature of having three major stations or workout formats – rather than having too many options. And though some of the blocks can get way too complicated, most classes are easy to follow and pickup quickly.
