We appreciated your prompt inspection and the information you provided. We realize you are not going to catch everything in a two-three hour inspection. We were surprised that you didn't notice that he sink in the kitchen was completely separated from the counter and needed to be firmly affixed and re-caulked. We caught that in our own physical inspection on Wednesday. Also we would have liked to know if the house was secured to the foundation or just sitting on it. Also are the stackable washer and dryer secured/braced or would they fall in an earthquake? Given the age of the house, did you see any evidence of lead soldering in the plumbing or areas where lead paint might potentially be exposed? In your opinion with the exception of the wood/ground contact on the posts, is the foundation set-up adequate for the very wet conditions? How do you access the water heater? Given it's age and difficulty of access, should it be replaced even though it is not failing at this time? The house was moved from Corvallis and located at the present location. Did you see any evidence of structural damage from the move. If you were buying the house yourself, would you require any additional inspections?

Friendly inspector and very thorough!!

He gave the inspection a personal touch. He took our daughter in law around with him and answered a lot of her questions, which were probably considerable since she has been learning from her mother in law. The gentleman his all the main points and brought up a lot of stuff that was not previously known, fortunately he put it all in perspective also. As with an older home, there are things that need attending and he was astute enough to catch them. Thank you for a good job.
