Amber Rose gave me VIP service and it was awesome! I highly recommend her and she gave me a super haircut designed for me. Ask for her because you won't be disappointed.

I was a walk in and was afraid I would have long wait, not so, I only had about a 10 minute wait. I requested a senior cut and treated quite well. Excellent haircut .
I've had my son's haircut done many times in the Amherst, NY area. Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to get it done before we left for vacation. The experience I had in "Sports Clips Haircuts of Tampa - Northdale" on 15724 N. Dale Mabry Hwy in Tampa, FL 33618, was hands down, the worst experience ever.
Upon check-in, I asked Eliana (receptionist) how much a haircut for my son would be. She advised that as a 1st-time customer to this store, it would be $24, which included the MVP. As there was a wait of about 35 min. I left my son (17) to wait for his haircut to run an errand at a nearby store. When I got back, I checked on his progress and saw the haircut he was getting by "Priscilla" was way too long. I asked her to go shorter down to a 3 in the back, move the part over toward the middle, and shorten the top/sides accordingly.
At this point, Priscilla agreed. Waiting & waiting, I again checked back to see what the hold up was. The back was shorter, but the part remained the same and the back of his crown was still too long. Again, I advised that she shouldn't worry about his cowlick - it never stood up and to cut it as short as the back. Also, his part needed to be moved (2nd time requesting this).
She began to argue with me, stating that "a stylist can 'read the hair", and refused to move his part where I indicated it should be. I was angry, knowing that I would have to trim him up when we got back.
Again waiting for another 20 more minutes, wondering what was going on and why this was taking so long. Checked again to see what was taking so long, and she had cut his haircut like a prison inmate. I was furious, as the back of his head was still not cut AND THE PART WAS NOT MOVED.
Finally, she came to the front to ring me up. For the record, this whole process from the 2:30 pm check-in to completion at 3:52 pm was beyond ridiculous. Worse, she told me the cost would be $30. For what? I told her that Eliana (who was cutting hair just behind the register) quoted me $24. Eliana confirmed this and said he was a 1st time client.
Priscilla was adamant and said she used hot water and conditioner. Again, what? Isn't this the way hair is cut starting with a wash? No MVP, by the way. I paid anyway but was disgusted with the cut and her argumentative attitude, along withe upcharge even after Eliana confirmed she advised $24.
I told her she wasn't getting a tip & I wanted to make a complaint. She said everything I needed was on the receipt. She refused to give me her name and I had to move closer to see it on her name tag.
I admit I called her a nasty batch, but frankly, I'm not sorry about it. She deserved it. I will NEVER use this shop again. Ever.
Priscilla was my stylist it's the first time in 45 years that I've had a haircut from someone else other than my wife she was absolutely excellent I am very happy and I'll be back in 3 weeks
Convenient online check-in and location.
Service was fast and friendly, however maybe too fast or rushed... Staff did not take the time to clean hair off both my boys had hair all over their face neck and shirts. Been going to the same location for over a year, hair stylist that helped us yesterday upset my oldest son who is 9... With certain comments : she stated that he wasn't going to take the time to do his hair so it wouldn't look good.

I like that I can check-in online ahead of time. I like that the details of how I want my hair cut is accessible at all locations. The hair stylists are always very friendly. I have never been to the Northdale location before, but Eliana gave me a great cut and great conversation. I will definitely return to that location for my next cut.
