Professional and thorough experience. The process was smooth and pretty easy. The windows were installed without having to remove our current exterior trim. The installation team did a good job, and even rehung our upper blinds for us that were too high for us to reach. The issues that were found with the windows and screens are set to be repaired. The windows look very nice in our home.

The Real Seal is one of those rare companies within the Chicago area that are honest and eager to be at your side and to support you as you go through the difficulties of whatever your house is doing (or not doing). They stay true to their word, analyze issues down to minute details, and are trained enough as experts to watch videos/look at photos and hypothesize (CORRECTLY!) what might be happening. Of course, you want them to evaluate in person, but knowing I can rely on The Real Seal to be honest and willing to help, especially after an install or renovation project, is a huge relief.

I think the biggest benefit of hiring The Real Seal is knowing you can speak to techs who you have seen before and the owner is open, kind, and attentive (and personable).

I must admit that I did get irate/nasty with The Real Seal at no fault of their own. Despite being angry and frustrated, they treated me with utmost respect and calmed me down and helped me figure out next steps to identify the problem. Needless to say: they were spot on about the issue and it had nothing to do with their work, despite what other companies said when they assessed the basement. I finally had the sewer repaired, and the issue was, in fact, exactly what the owner of The Real Seal hypothesized it was.

Needless to say, I felt like a donkey's butt. Yet, even now, they still treat me and my home like I never acted like That Customer. I cannot stress how much that meant and still means to me.

I'm not owning another house when I move out of this one, but if I ever do, these are the people I would have work on any foundation, water, concrete, or any other work they have expertise in.

Both Jim the estimator and George who repaired our crack were very helpful, approachable and explained things very well. I appreciate the extra thought put into the email introductions as well. Very happy with the work done and hopefully no more cracks but will definitely use Real Seal again if we get any more.

One of the best companies we’ve ever had do anything on our home.

Our front entry door is well made, the design we picked is just what we wanted although I am disappointed it is not true stained glass ( I worry about paint fading - stained glass does not) . It is beautiful!

From Steve our salesperson - who we appreciated that he was never pushy - he gave us suggestions and his advice. Our door measurer Steve was efficient and answered all of our questions. Steve and Arthur our installations crew were fantastic! They got in, did the job, no mess and got out. They too answered all of our questions. Lots of Steve's in this process but ALL were fantastic!

The office staff was very helpful also: Lexi, Janice, Ava and Karla.

The process!

The option of meeting specific color combination is such a change in the visual impact of each room. Additional warmth and quiet would never be a bad thing in McVay brings it in spades.

The install team was magic. The care for the space and rigors of a second/2-1/2 story replacement project.

The only way I could tell they’d been and done was by enhanced comfort and eye appeal.

High quality product and great attention to detail on the installation.

The estimator was very knowledgeable and helpful. The tech that came out to work was also extremely friendly, hard-working and willing to answer questions. The pricing seemed fair. The repair work was kept on schedule.
