The South County store is great.
I purchased a new pair of shoes at this store Thursday 4-11. I was waited on like I was important. I was asked what type of shoe, where I was to wear it. I was offered 3 choices. The clerk who helped me acknowledged other customers who came in after me, but never made me feel rushed. My new shoes are perfect. What I didn’t mention to the clerk is, that I had just purchased a similar pair of $160 shoes 2 days before from Lauries shoes on Manchester Rd. They fit ok, but I felt hurried in my purchase. I was only offered one choice. When I asked about other shoes I was told this one shoe was the best choice. I realized the next day they were too big and went back to EXCHANGE them. I was not greeted or acknowledged by any associate. After waiting 5 minutes to be helped, I went to the register and RETURNED my purchase. Feeling like if you don’t care about me, you don’t need my business. No matter how many free cookies you give your customers.( Lauries gives free cookies when you leave.)
My visit to Fleet Feet was quite the opposite. I wish I knew the associate who helped me. She had cute pale pink New Balance shoes on!

Genuinely want the customer to feel better and more comfortable on their feet. I felt listened to and cared for extremely well. I noticed a difference immediately when I stepped into my new shoes and hopefully they continue to help me. Thanks Fleet Feet! I will be back.

The service and people that wait on you really care and really try to help in any problems you have . They make you feel comfortable.if the shoe doesn’t work for you you’re welcome to bring it back and they will help to solve the problem .
The staff is ALWAYS knowledgeable, The prices are fair, the selection is great, the people who work there are genuine and NICE.
Honestly the woman that helped me was one of the top associates I’ve ever had the opportunity to work with. She knew everything about the shoes and how my feet would impact the shoe selection. She made me a life long fleet feet customer. I wish everyone was like her!
