classes can be too crowded... space ppl out more... i get u want to accommodate as many ppl as possible but crowded classes where you are one on top of another are unpleasant

The fellow behind the counter - with a goatee and tats was really helpful in directing me to classes and teachers I might enjoy. He took a sincere effort in addressing a situation in which I felt uncomfortable. The class was listed as Hatha yet the teacher, Danny, taught it too fast, without doing many of the poses himself to model what we were doing, and in a flow method. There were a few people in the class that were new to Yoga and his speed and lack of the usual instructions did not take the various levels into account. I left the class after 1/2 hour because we were doing dog/plank/cobra/lunge/standing/bending and starting the sequence several times all over way too quickly. Another woman left right behind me because she was dizzy. A woman behind the counter was very helpful to her - great front desk staff...
Friendly, welcoming and knowledgable staff. Great vibe and lovely studio. Teachers give you a piece of themselves! I was only in town for a couple of days from Australia but found the classes extremely enjoyable. Would highly recommend to any yogi :)
Better organised reception and front office area
It's a nice studio and atmosphere, but I'm unlikely to recommend to friends based on pricing.

The location is lovely, and the classes are usually very good.
My favourite group of studios to do yoga at are in California. They seem to have struck the perfect balance with their front area being welcoming and inviting and the tea and water are prominently offered with the store being very much present but a bit more background. Also, they have cushions on their benches so that it is more inviting to sit down and have a cup of tea and connect and create community together. When I sit and have tea in one of the studios in California it feels cosy and I feel comfortable picking up one of the books for sale and enjoying a few moments of contemplation and/or reading. At the Kits Beach studio I feel like I would be sitting on a hard bench in a big white room on display out in the open. There are no cosy nooks/areas. Your front area may invite people to shop but not to stay and connect. For me, the entire atmosphere of a yoga studio is important… Not just the yoga class itself. Thank you for receiving my thoughts.

Customer service, installations, promotions.
My passed expired and I didn't realize until after class when someone at the front desk mentioned it. It would be nice if I was sent a reminder email so I was more prepared.
The homeopathy on the shelves felt anti-science and I rolled my eyes at it. The class was great but the supplement shelves put me off. Self yoga mats and blocks sure, but I don't see the relevance to the vitamins and stuff.
