The instructors are helpful and provide lots of modifications. The space is warm and inviting

How personal the staff and other members are. Semperviva is non-pretentious which is critical to my ability to enjoy my yoga experience.

I responded to the "have someone call you to discuss which classes would be appropriate box but no one called. I ended up at the absolutely worst choice for my first class....Vinyasa Flow with Allie (not sure of spelling) Thursday 6:00. Wonderful instructor but packed like sardines, far too advanced for me. I was immediately turned off by closeness of other people and very strong smells. Fortunately I was able to leave...find my way through the throngs to get to the door and was given some other options. If I had received a call in a timely fashion (received an email later that night) I might have been spared the disappointment. As it is, the experience has made me less than eager to try again but I will persevere.
The location, the ambience, the energy in the room was great, everyone just wanted to get on their mat and do the thing. And the teacher really spoke my language, I loved her flow.

I think the teacher was fantastic, and its amazing to see how many people want to be a part of the class. Nothing major that I would change, but in a perfect world, maybe a tiny bit more elbow room. Because the classes are so full I found myself colliding into my neighbours from time to time, which temperarily put me out of the zone. That being said, the environment was so positive and non judgemental that it wasnt hard getting back into it. Certainly not something that would stop me from going again, Great studio too! A tad hard to find, but now that I know where it is, I enjoy the little hidden oasis :) Beautiful location, and I know Im sure Danny gets a lot of great feedback, but I'll just say once more, again, amazing teacher! Ive been to yoga classes where the teacher will constantly look around and point out who is doing what position wrong, and Im just getting back into yoga. The no pressure, relaxed, positive vibe I've gotten from every class with Semperviva makes it easy to want to be there! :)
