I love La Vida and have received great service from most of the massage therapists. Seems as though there have been some administrative / operational hiccups in the past couple of months such as appointment times over scheduled or not operating on time, etc. The front desk assistant has seemingly changed over, perhaps there are some bugs to be worked out. Overall, I'm very pleased with LaVida and will continue my subscription for months to come.

My daughter said that her masseuse seemed to know exactly where to apply pressure to undo the knots may daughter had in her shoulder and legs after an intense 3 day volleyball tournament. My daughters comment was that she wished she hadn't waited 16 and 1/2 years to get her first massage! I see many more in our future. Thank you for squeezing us in at the last minute and doing such a terrific job.

Every single one of my appointments here have been wonderful experience. From the quick check in and friendly front desk to the massage therapist is all been wonderful. It's Rich Williams who has kept me coming there. He is an amazing massage therapist and not only that has other expertise in Reki and Reflexology. I would recommend him highly!

I like that appointments are available 7 days a week. It is convenient for me to schedule an appointment on Saturday or Sunday.

The ambiance was great. Abe was amazing and worked out several knots I had. I was completely comfortable was we talked about what areas I wanted to work on and my comfort level prior to starting my service.

The monthly membership and add ons

I love the fact my therapist perform a professional job. She works and don't do a lot of talking, which is important to me. If your trying to relax or trying to get rid of pain.... it's just not the time for excesses talking

Massage was good. It was less then 60 minutes. You can improve on providing the full time advertised.

More precise communication between la vida and consumer. For instance, I have an appointment with a massage person and when I arrive I am told she no longer works at la vida.

I went April 30, 2017. The women at the front desk were so friendly, warm and very welcoming. The place of business was beautiful. It was very "spa" like. Warm earth tone colors and feeling. My daughter and I went together for a couples massage. I had Dean, she had Gina. I had the BEST massage I have ever had. He was informative, soft spoken, with hands of gold. He gave me some great advice. My daughter said that Gina was awesome. She gave Gina some instructions as I did to Dean and they followed every word we said. The music was beautiful and relaxing. The room temperature was perfect. The oil they used didn't have any crazy perfume smell, thank God. After the massage was over, sadly it had to end, the woman at the front desk told us about a great deal. Not pushy at all, gave us the facts. I signed up right then and there....BEST MONEY I ever spent. Can't wait to go back and see Dean!!

I got a "We my as you" email offering a member price of $49.95 for me to come back. It was Birthday so I decided to schedule a massage for myself as a birthday treat. Used my birthday money. I was really hurting so I asked the girl how much to upgrade to a 90 min. She checked and said it would be $67.50 so I booked the 90 min. I requested Vidal but he did not have a 90 available so the girl referred me to Alex or Alexa or something like that. I get in room with Alex, and spoke soooo soft I could hardly hear her! I tell her all my problems area and where I wanted extra time and for her to focus. There was no warm up. Just uncovered my back and started with elbows. She must have gone over my Scapula spine numerous times with her elbow! Over the same spots over and over! I told her I had a degenerative SI joint and no pin pointed work below the area! And SH went right in there with her knuckles and fingertips. I had to ask her use her flat hands in this area and to stop using her fingers. Then I tell her I need extra work on my forearms cause I have carpal tunnel. She proceeded to use lots of thumbs on my upper arms which really hurt and and told her too move onto my forearms and it wasn't enough pressure. I had to tell her, "More pressure in forearms and less in upper arms!" Then when she got to the feet which I told her I had Plantar Fasciaitis, she she just used her knuckles! AGAIN!!!! No rubbing! I wanted to jump up and train the girl on how to do her job and teach her how to listen! She doesn't speak either! So I felt there was almost NO communication!!' THEN! When I left, she never showed me where the bathrooms were. I found myself roaming the halls looking for them. And when I went to check out, the front desk manager tells me it will be $84.95!!!! I was quoted $67.50. So we went round and round! I told her that since the 1 hour "We miss you" price was the member price of $49.95, then I would be willing to pay the 90 min member price of $74.95. Even though it was NOT MY mistak! It was the girl I booked the appointment with' mistake. And she still tried to convince me to pay the $84.95!!! So much for my birthday massage!!! Now, not only was the massage a bust, but now I am arguing with the front desk manager about how much to pay! She eventually accepted the 90 min member price of $74.95. However, I doubt I will be back! If this was my business, I would have saved the client the argument, and
Allowed her to pay why she was quoted. Then talk to the employee who quoted that price! Not take it up with the client in the lobby! After her massage! It was very unprofessional. Thank God Vidal came out to break the ice and say hello to me. I used him last time I as there.

Felt very comfortable immediately when walking in the door. Kenya was unbelievable!! Will be back sooner than later--Great experience....
