The front desk girl was nice. But walking into the waiting room in the back is just not welcoming it is just dark no positive reinforcement nothing peaceful. The rooms are just dreary, the masseuse were terrible barley rubbed me, she sneezed on my body. Just not ideal of a message.
Thank you for the kind words about our front desk staff. Sorry you were disappointed with your therapist though. Maybe we can pair you with someone more suitable to your needs on return. If you are looking for deeper pressure, please mention that when booking so we can pair you with a therapist that might be better with deep tissue. As far as our ambiance and decor, we rarely find clients take issue with either. The dim lighting is welcomed along with the calming music played throughout. Our airy light green and brown color combo, along with our cleanliness and professionalism are attributes that are frequently complimented, not disparaged. But everyone is entitled to their opinion.
I had one other massage from a different place over 6-7 years ago. The last place I went to was horrible.
I apologize for forgetting her name, but at this place, she did great and actually did what she was supposed to do. I would definitely come back. :) Thank you!

Very relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. Mike was great, and there was good communication. Focused on the areas we spoke about, periodically made sure the pressure was to my liking and made me feel very comfortable.

Management
All staff are great! I hope management/owners appreciate all of these people! They make the business. There could be better management of how it’s run as a business but the ones that work there are why I keep coming back.
Massage rooms should be warmer temperature.
I always have a good visit! Gus is amazing and always listens to my main concerns! I always feel amazing when I leave!

The therapist was great, I had back and hip pain and it wasn’t really tailored towards that though. That is the only reason I came in and I left not feeling anything different. I think she was focused more on finishing the whole body instead of where my pain was… this isn’t a place where they can customize your visit to help with what’s going on

You can have just your back or target areas focused on, if that is what you'd like. All you need to do is discuss what you are looking for with your therapist during the time he/she asks you what you have come in for. We look forward to seeing you again.
I had another wonderful massage at LaVida this week, it was so relaxing and enjoyable! Summer was my therapist and I always love the welcoming and beautiful atmosphere at LaVida. Perfect way to end the week, highly recommend!
