What do you like about our programs and activities?

I'm not really happy since you removed the old machines on the 2nd floor. I can only blame myself for cutting back badly needed visits because of this. I still like the stationary bicycles, and the water park looks delightful, though I'm not ready to move my 10 laps from Wedgewood to the Y pools. The Y is a pleasant welcoming place.

Instructors Jane, Chrissy, Kim, and Leslie are wonderful motivators in your Silver Sneakers program that provides a valuable service for the elderly people in the community. Keep up the good work!

I currently have been using the walking track & the outdoor pool.
I wanted to let you know how impressed I am with the lifeguard staff.
They are very attentive to every area of the pool.

I like the staff and equipment. The locker rooms and showers need a renovation. If the changing rooms were renovated the West Chester YMCA would be the best gym in the area.

What do you like about our programs and activities?

Activities are generally, well organized and scheduled. However, I am very upset about the recent re-org of the weight room/fitness center. WAY too much space for weights (now in two locations) and the machines and cardio equipment are really crowded together and there is only one of each machine! Also, there is now almost zero open swim/lap swim during the day.

1. Friendly and helpful welcome desk.
2. Very clean women's locker rooms.
3. Lap swim lanes in both indoor pools throughout day + year.
4. E-gym convenient and easy to use.
5. Indoor track. (I have asthma/allergies, so outdoor walking not always possible.)
6. Very pleasant and friendly atmosphere throughout.
7. I am almost 80 years old. I feel safe and comfortable (and welcome!) at the West Chester YMCA.
