There are so many options to take advantage of, and kind, friendly Staff members to help you along the way. I like that the Staff has been key to my enjoyment of the YMCA, especially my Personal Trainer, Julia, who has been wonderful.

Egym is great. I Love the variety of classes that you offer though I haven't taking advantage of them yet, I plan to one day. I like that you have many treadmills with TVs up front.

Silver Sneakers has become an important part of my daily life, and the West Chester Area YMCA has made that possible. There is plenty of parking. The desk staff keeps the line moving so if I'm a little late, I don't have to worry about being held up at this point. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The exercise/training staff are competent, friendly, and helpful. The props needed (yoga blocks, straps, etc.) are generally available. And, the icing on the cake is an executive director who genuinely cares for the smooth running of the Y. Unlike many organizations, she actually teaches classes, so she can see what is going on rather than retreating behind closed doors. She has her finger on the pulse of the organization so she can address any issues that might arise.

Programs are constantly updated. I like the running track above the gym. Excellent pickleball sessions. Great staff.

Large variety of programs, enthusiastic & reliable staff & lifeguards

You offer a wide variety of activities for people of all ability levels. Modifications are offered by staff. I don't have young kids but if I did, I wouldn't hesitate to use your child care. Staff is very helpful. Bathrooms clean.

I like that there is a good variety of classes at various times. I especially appreciate and use the eGym. I’m glad our Y chose to trial it. I convinced my sister & her husband to travel from Brandywine Y to try it out. They keep coming back!

I come to the Aqua Fit Lite class and love it. Chrissy is wonderful and keeps us moving for the whole class. It’s my first class but I’m enjoying it!

I like the staff and facility overall.

I do not like the eliptical machines falling in disrepair so often. Especially the machines that the vast majority of your clients like most (the machines with arms).

Can you please prioritize these machines? It’s a chronic problem that does not seem to get priority for fast repair or replacement. Please do not buy the types of machines people do not like. If you watch and observe it’s obvious most of the newer machines are not used.

I like the variety of classes.

Lots of group exercise choices with good instructors. Nice, clean facility.

I like the cleanliness and the fitness classes. My children like the child watch area, and it makes it very convenient to spend a little time focusing on my health knowing that my little ones are safe.

Mr. Sebastian has been an amazing swim instructor helping my child gain confidence and I’ve seen a lot of progress during her lessons with him. Thank you!

My husband and I LOVE the E- gym. We joined a year ago and come three times a week- whenever we are home. We are retired and found that the Egym is perfect for us. The staff there know us by name and really helped in the beginning to have the correct form for the exercises.
