Customer Testimonials
It makes music fun. It's friendly. It's casual. The showcase concert is very professional and gives the students a chance to perform in front of people and feel like a rock star.
The kids have fun and learn how to play individually and in a group.
At the end of the day, it's about the people working there, and Marc and his crew are the best.
I love how attentive and caring the instructors are. They work hard to make sure the students are progressing and learning important things that relate to what the student is interested in. It's a fun and safe environment that makes the students feel like they are cared for and have someone who supports them and that wants them to be successful.
Willing to work at my pace and on music I want to learn.
Great Instructors!
Fun, group centered,
Intensity and sensitivity of your talent for reaching the students like nobody else.
My daughter is having fun and learning!!
Marc has continued to challenge Kay in her lessons and group rehearsals. She needs that type of instruction. He has asked her to play some hard stuff but it's super fun and she is enjoying her new SoR home. I see her thriving again and she's much happier now. Marc is irreplaceable- he makes Kay rise to another level that she never knew she could achieve.
Adriene is expanding Kay's vocal range by intertwining rock music performance with classical voice instruction. This is allowing Kay to continue to thrive within SoR but also in her choir program at her high school. They also talk about college and Kay's future. Adriene is an amazing person and I'm so thankful she has come into Kay's life. She needed a person like Adriene after all the shakeups she has been through with other vocal instructors.
Kay has had a tumultuous year at another SoR campus and being able to find a landing spot at Champion Forest has given her back the stability and joy she once had. The entire staff at CF is friendly and upbeat, everyone seems to be happy to be there. The school is warm and welcoming from the moment you walk in the door. We are very happy we switched to the Champion Forest campus.
Flexibility
I like the amount of instruction time, the weekly feedback and opportunity for advanced students to participate in the House band.
Lessons are fantastic, but lessons by their very nature rather sterile and insular. The real value of SoR comes from taking what you learn in the lessons and being able to apply it in a group setting and play successfully with people.
My son is excited to go to the School of Rock, it isn't a chore for him. He came home from his first lesson and was able to play a song, one that we actually enjoyed listening to! Music is now a part of him, and he will carry that love for the rest of his life.
My daughter loves playing in a band!
Interest in my learning what I want to learn.
Fun, interactive and a good learning experience!
Everything but the cost!
The team really knows their stuff and they go to great lengths to create a warm, welcoming and fun environment for students.
We are very happy we transferred to CF. Adriene is an amazing vocal instructor and Kay LOVES her time with her!
Marc, of course, is the best guitar instructor for Kay and I'm so glad we followed him there.
The school is always clean and very inviting. Carolyn is amazing! The entire staff at CF is awesome and we are extremely pleased with our experience there.
My childvis really having fun and learning to play guitar. Its a great model and being a part of a band is the best part!
The most valuable part for me is learning to play with other people. The lessons are great, but Grad School is even better.
It is another family. The staff always make my kids feel welcomed and they are always excited to to share what they have learned!
Ability to practice throughout the week
Love the one on one lessons weekly and having performance at the end of the season. Everyone is very friendly and get exited to see our kids come in.
My 2 instructors have been great my 2nd has really explained music theory in a way I understand it's been a big help
Fun format for kids. They like to learn how to play the music and interact with other kids.
Management and staff are great to work with. They are understanding and they assure in me that the only thing they want is for my child to excel in the passion that they have for music. The program has my child in the level that they need to be in. And as my child works with others in there group, I can see that my child is building confidence and enjoys being around others that share his passion for music. The one on one time is giving my child a better understanding about his instrument and group sessions is what my child needed to build his confidence to perform with others. This is by far the best music school around and that is focused on the student.
It's practical. You learn to play the songs you like, and learn to play with other people.
I like that our kids are given a good outlet for performing music they enjoy and learn some theory along the way.
