Customer Testimonials
Always happy with Kay's instructor at SoR CF! It's hard to believe 5 years have flown by! Looking forward to her final show but we'll miss our time with everyone there. The entire staff is top notch!
What I like about SOR is the rate of speed that my daughter is learning and playing a few chords after every single lesson is quite fast. Also, the opportunity for her to perform music alongside other kids is a good learning experience on how to work in a group as one single unit or team and not only as a solo performer.
As they say, we learn how to be a gracious follower and or a humble leader, when we work as a team.
Group interaction - talented instructors
The Community
They teach you songs that you want to learn.
Staff is super awesome!! The way the music lessons are taught makes it a lot easier to learn and practice at home. The Adult Program is also very fun to attend, plus it teaches you how to play in rhythm with other members. I have tried learning by watching videos on YouTube and reading pages on books, but it does not compare to having someone there actually teaching you how to play the right and correct way. I would recommend School of Rock to anybody out there who is interested in learning how to play, beginner or pro.
Consistency and fun!
Great instructors. Good music selections. I love the summary emails to the parents after each lesson. He, of course, doesn’t tell me anything, so it’s very helpful.
The personal attention given to the kids in the private lessons and the professionalism. The group sessions are great for kids to interact and learn how to play together and not just learn solo parts.
Love these guys!!
The instructors are very knowledgeable and do an excellent job teaching both my children that attend Champions Forest. The kids are given the opportunity to try new things and encouraged in a positive way to improve their skills. Most of all, it is wonderful the way the instructors are able to teach the kids so much and make it fun at the same time. It keeps them interested and committed to the program. My kids love going to their lessons and rehearsals every week.
They are geared toward the progress you are making not to a set pace that you have to achieve.
Excellent one on one lessons that helped my daughter develop her music talent.
So glad that you got my son "out of his shell" and rockin with a group!
The instructors are great! So much positive energy and encouragement from them.
Great, open communication with all of the instructors. Very fun environment and always very welcoming. Romans instructors are all so encouraging and positive which makes learning that much fun!
I love the instructors and the program itself. My son loves school of rock.
Enthusiastic instructors - relevant music for the kids - fun and motivating learning environment
Adriene is the most amazing instructor! We adore her! She challenges Kay every lesson to learn more and delve deeper into the art of being a vocalist. Adriene isn't just helping her sing, she is teaching her the finer points of music and vocalist theories.
Marc- well- we've been with him for almost 3 years through two schools, so obviously, we are still very happy with the way Kay works with him. He has challenged her recently with more difficult parts. Kay is a better musician because of Marc.
We are very happy at SoR CF. The school is always clean and bright and bustling with energy. Carolyn works hard to make sure everything runs smoothly and is on top of scheduling make ups, when needed. Every instructor is friendly and always smiling. It is definitely my kid's happy place.
The program is above all "FUN"! My son is always looking forward to his private lessons and group sessions.
I love that the kids learn to play the music first and then learn the music theory once they're engaged! My son loves his lessons! He looks forward to them every week! They play amazing music and open up the children's eyes to all of the classics! How cool is it that my 12 year old is a Beatles fan?
It has helped with my son's school band as well. Keeps him engaged and always ready to learn something new!
The instructors are always there to help in any way! Such a great experience for my child and for myself as a parent to watch! Love, love love School of Rock!
Cole is really enjoying his classes so far. :)
Y'all rock! Love how the staff always welcomes Roman with a smile on their face. Communication is key and i feel that is on point with every one of you; Even if its shifting his scheduled session around, i do appreciate the text and the open communication that we all have. Not to mention the friends Roman has gained since we enrolled!
Instructors are supportive and encouraging of the students. Very organized and my son enjoys his time at SOR.
My daughter LOVES the fact that she is learning more about music by actually PERFORMING the music. Unlike her experience in a more regimented choir and musical theater, School of Rock allows her to experiment more with her voice.
You are focused on the kids' learning about music and how to play it as well as their own abilities, challenges, and pleasure.
Marc!!
What do I like about the programs? Adriene Bible and Marc Reczek. It's really that simple.
Adriene has been Kay's vocal instructor for almost a year now and we couldn't be any happier with the her. She is kind, warm, funny and focused. She has become a "musical" big sister and she is adored by our entire family. She is a strong support system for Kay if she's had a bad day and the biggest cheerleader when good things happen. She not only works tirelessly with Kay on her SoR stuff but she understands the classical training Kay is getting through high school choir and takes all of that into consideration. She listens to Kay when she voices apprehension about something and is able to work through the tough spots like a mentor should. She encourages Kay to step out of her box and try new things, new sounds, new genres. She has taught Kay the importance of warming up your vocals, following through and getting out of your own head. Adriene is an amazing human being with a good heart, a killer voice and an dazzling smile. We could not be happier with her.
Marc Reczek- he is no stranger to my feedback. That man moves mountains. He has been working with Kay for almost 2 years now and the changes we've seen are impressive. He challenges her to rise above merely what is required to play the song and to delve deeper into the song construction- chords, changes in tempo, charting, etc. Being that Kay has been an SoR student for almost 4 years, Marc encourages her to help teach the newer students the SoR way of life. It's about fun, music and friends. This has allowed her to be able to help new students feel completely welcomed in the groups. Marc brings out her inner stage beast. He encourages without coddling. He's tough yet celebratory. He holds Kay accountable to herself, to him, to the performance group and to a higher standard.
We've been through some rather tumultuous times with SoR for the last couple of years with instructors coming and going and having to switch schools completely. I wasn't sure Kay was going to stick it out through the hard times but I'm very pleased with the way Champion Forest has welcomed her to their family. Carolyn runs a tight ship and honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way. The school is always clean, safe and brimming with activity. The smiles and greetings when you walk in the door just bring happiness and sense of belonging. As a parent, watching your child lose the one thing she loved the most is devastating, but finding it again at SoR Champion Forest has been a blessing. Kay just wanted a place to belong, somewhere she could be herself and let her inner rock star thrive. She needed to get back to the root of it all and just play some music. She has been able to find her happy place again at SoR Champion Forest. For that, all I can say is Thank You.
The managers and teachers, make good team driving the kids to learn and grow in their musical aspirations . Good environment for the kids increase social skills.
After about 6 weeks, I have learned so much already from 2 keyboard instructors. It continues into group where we learn how to bring our work to the band, under yet another instructor.
So I really appreciate the various perspectives and backgrounds of the crew.
Everybody (even the students) seem really committed.
