Customer Testimonials
Good music selection, good teachers, good administration,
I like how learning music is super fun there and the teachers are very nice and great teachers and I learn past my limits and find new challenges and School of Rock does more than learn music and perform. They are kind of like a second family. They make me feel safe and happy there and I always look forward to going.
They have created a great atmosphere for the kids to learn about music. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. My kids absolutely love it.
Students are taught and challenged on their level and pushed toward improvement every week.
I love the school and the programs they offer. It is a great way to achieve musical talent all the way to performances and beyond. I think all the instructors and personnel are very nice and promote a great, comfortable, encouraging musical learning environment. The equipment is the latest up to date quality and it all has been a great learning experience for me. I wish I had started with the School of Rock a long time ago.
My son loves going to the school and meeting kids that have the same love for music
The rehearsal/performance aspect.
We enjoy the smaller classes, and the time spent letting the kids explore the different instruments.
What I like about the program is that my son really enjoys going to class and is always very excited to learn how to play the drums
The students are taught so much that I don't believe they could get anywhere else.
Jack is always pleased, especially after private lessons, what he is learning about.
The groups are good to help them get out out of their shells.
Ashton has learned a lot from his instructors, but most importantly, he has gained confidence in his playing. He has played in several venues and each time he is told to play out, that he has the talent, but needs to get over being shy. We love Ryan because he is a great encourager, and Rhueban is working hard to prepare Ashton for auditions and performances.
Learning songs instead of just chords.
What I like about the programs at Championwood Forest School of Rock is that the students get to practice their private, individual learning in a real life group rock band setting. The students are invested in their learning by contributing songs they want to learn to play, they build team work and camaraderie. When they play together, one can tell that they are genuinely enjoying themselves.
band practice and separate lessons - a lot of time playing music
The reason we joined School of Rock was for the ensemble opportunities. It has met our needs for our son. He is really enjoying the opportunity to play in a group and making new friends with similar interests.
Great atmosphere. Enthusiastic teachers. Program blends theory and practice seamlessly.
We recently joined but Hudson has enjoyed his lessons so far. He loves music and Ms. Milan has continued his enthusiasm.
The kids seems to enjoy it.
My kids absolutely love it here. Mark and Ryan are great instructors. They really relate to the kids. The staff is so friendly.
I love the whole adult band idea. The instructors are great and help run things smoothly.
Learn songs
Like the teachers and they are so caring toward the students. My daughter LOVE LOVE LOVE’s Marc as her instructor!
The program directors are very accommodating to everyone's schedule. We feel very welcome. Our sons look forward to their lesson and group session every week.
Variety of the songs
Matt is great!
The people make the difference at SoR. It's a community as much as a business.
The kids really enjoy the social aspect of the group sessions. Tons of fun and priceless stage experience.
This program has become a huge part of our daughter's life and she LOVES it!
My son has learned so much since he has started. He plays all the time now and enjoys his teacher because it's all about the music and my son learns better from listening and then playing as oppose to reading the notes on paper.
I like the idea that kids get to learn together in a band performance plus the individual lessons to master their instrument of choice. Having a positive attitude towards all students and using their musical talent in keeping the kids interested in learning.
