As a complete beginner it would have been helpful to have the teacher demonstrate each move more than once so that I could follow along a few times with her once we started.
It would also be helpful to be told during each position where we should be feeling the stretch or additional information about what we are trying to accomplish out of the position.
Overall a great experience for someone brand new to yoga.

Great instructors at the downtown location!
A couple of things I would change in some Sculpt classes:
No high fives- I know it sounds anti social, but during flu and cold months it is not a good idea.
Also, I really like pop and hip hop music played during classes- just a personal preference.
Cue water/ towel breaks- Everyone should be drinking water in a sculpt class, and not feeling like they are left behind because the rest of the class has moved on.
No major grievances, but just my opinion. I love CPY!!

Killer workouts in friendly environment

The instructors are fantastic at what they do and are very welcoming. It is a well oiled machine at that location. Even the members that go are supportive and friendly.

This is such an amazing studio! Coming from NY, I was looking for a place to seek a community and right away, I felt at home. There are some really great teachers with a good schedule- i've loved practicing here.
My only comment would be that all the teachers talk about adjusting during classes, and the only teacher I got adjustments from was from Molly. I've noticed that I've had other CP teachers in my class that I practice next to, and they get multiple adjustments during class, and no one else received attention. I know I shouldn't focus on that, but I think that if you're new, and an announcement will be made, then teachers should help new students as well as teachers in the class.

Other than that, I have loved my experience at this home away from home.

The energy is AMAZING. The studios are big. The teachers rock. The lockers have room. Parking sucks - block off more spaces or reimburse people for parking (we already pay enough in membership fee)

I like the variety of classes and teaching styles found at CPY. When I am in the mood to unwind and let go I take a certain instructor's class; when I want my endurance to be pushed I take another. I feel like I'm part of a community whenever I come in for classes or programs like bootcamp.

I took Adam's Wed night C2 class. He was great.
